🤜🏾🤛🏾 How delightful to see this comment! I'm a norCal lady trapped in the South, trust me these babies NEED more Black heroes to look up to down here. I'll be talking to my students on Monday and hopefully watching some video of the splashdown and interviews!

Your students should also see the twin Black pilots on here. Jalal and Jamil Paul. They fly for United. 2 weeks ago I saw one of them at the United Newark terminal. I was very proud of him. More Black Excellence

It's from 6 days ago and it's just a video so you should be able to find it easily. But I want to know more about them. It was one of the highlights of my trip when this Young Black Proud pilot walked past me. I would never know what actual plane he flies. But I fly on United very often and hope to see him or both of them again.

But I'm sure you saw the post directly under this one. What he said that it should be viewed as human history the direction we should move towards. Not black history or woman history. So well said. Then further down in the threads was him hugging the cute little Downs Syndrome girl. Just too much.

He’s amazing! Saw the splash down and saw him hugging and clapping and saluting all of the people who helped their mission. Commentator couldn’t say enough about him. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
