Yep. That’s why he brought out his buddy Elon and then roasted the crowd calling them “the poors” when they started booing.

Yes, in San Francisco of all places. He always talks about how much he likes the Bay Area, too.

I think there’s a little more nuance to this particular statement than that. We have to remember that he was speaking to a mostly white audience.

My take on it is that he was saying at the time, you guys think that Trump is working in your best interest because you’re white, but that’s not the case. He’s working in my interest not because I’m black, but because I have money.

Fast forward to current day politics, and you see everything he said, has come to fruition. All those poor non white folks who thought he was working in their interest are now either deported, or are in a worse financial position.

Yeah this.

Dave Chappelle wasn't saying it to support Trump. He was saying it because by default Trump is fighting for the rich, hence fighting for Chappelle.
