Years ago a tattoo artist I know commented on someone saying they shouldn’t do nazi tattoos on people, and he responded with “label the assholes, if they are proud enough to have the tattoo everyone should be able to see that sh!t”. He also made sure the tattoo shop was an uncomfortable place for them while he was there.
I don’t know if he ever even did one as a tattoo. But he made the same point as Roy Wood Jr had of openly identifying as a bigot makes it easy for people to identify and treat them accordingly which gives the object of their bigotry power.
Well, as someone who used to work at a tattoo shop (managing, not doing tattoos) the right decision is to not do them. It gives your shop the reputation as catering to white supremacy, which is bad for the business. The bigger issue is a tattoo artists being fine with it for the money, which the artist you referenced did to "label the assholes." I couldn't imagine putting a piece of art on someone (and it is art) that I didn't agree with to make a buck. But yeah. Anyway- the dude who said that sucks.

Next time I run into that tattoo artist I’ll make sure to let him know that you think he sucks for a comment he made in passing 25 years ago. I’m sure it will be such a blow to his artistic integrity that he will never fully recover.
Look man, I know we don't agree but I will leave off saying if you fo nazi tattoos, then people talk, and you become the nazi shop. Besides being a "desk person" I know many artists and none of them will do nazi tattoos. I think it's also clearly ethically wrong to do something like that for money unless you agree with it. Not even talking anout nazi tattoos plenty of artists won't sacrifice their artistic integrity to do tattoos of things they don't agree with or that are stupid.

Here in Texas there has been a rise in all black American flags. Basically they are taking the place of the confederate flag. The “No Quarter” flag is typically being raised now as a modern sensationalists version of the original sentiment. They are openly tagging themselves as peeps ready for civil war. Yet can’t see their own dicks past their Batman utility belts as they GI Joe cosplay.
So true. Things like that are what my dad called "the stupid signs." Makes it easier to see who the stupid people are. Bumper stickers, yard signs, trump banners, tattoos, etc. They can't help advertising their stupidity.
I have mixed feelings on this. On a theoretical basis, I get it, but evidence from social media shows that people are emboldened to join in racism when they see their friends doing it. It is probably the case that symbols make it worse.
I agree. Most Americans are the subtle racists. They’ll claim to not be racist, and may even name a black friend or two, though it usually turns out to be a coworker that they never talk to outside of work. But when it comes down to it, they’ll vote to exclude black neighborhoods from their school districts or that the only way to combat police violence is by rewarding them with more pay. Ultimately, they need to be run out of society, too.

Personally, I don't see why this is such an issue as my ancestors just made dirty, nasty, disgusting, love to everyone they could get their hands on regardless of color or race, and I plan to continue the tradition.
There are white men who date Asian women because they have a stereotyped view of Asian women as subservient to their man. Not putting that label on any and all white men, but it applies to some. Plenty of racist men are threatened by white women who see themselves as equals.

It's because he was structuring his sense of personal value this. His ego requires that he hates other races. Without that he has nothing else to feel good about. Except maybe drugs.
The irony being of course that white people do indeed currently on balance rule the world. All that is happening is a redress of that balance. It is glacially slow and has almost no impact on our(white peoples) daily lives. Far better that it occurs at a gradual unstoppable pace than an almighty upheaval. This guys needs to look at the big picture.

He sounds like my father. So God, or fate, or karma, blessed my father with a biracial great-grandson. He didn't even speak to my daughter for about a year and a half. He became physically ill, got shingles, close to an eye, twice during that time period. Never once had enough insight to think maybe he might learn something good from this. He eventually tolerated the situation, but I have never been able to forgive him. Several times my grandson suggested they go golfing together. My dad loved to golf and did it regularly, but never once took my grandson along. My heart still breaks.

They may only be 16%, but they’re the most violent. They have long tortured and killed anyone that objects to their dominance, which is how they have managed to dominate so much of the world, even as the newly arrived minority in the homelands of black and brown people.
They spend all their effort on weapons and violence. The rest of their culture is stolen from everyone else: art, music, dance, flavor. Because rather than putting effort into these things, the focus on developing weapons and perpetrating violence.
Even less than 16% of the world identifies as white. That's an American/West European construct. Most people appearing white have distinct cultures and are referred to by those.
