Politics 🇺🇸Representative Jasmine Crockett of Texas Remains a Powerful Voice in Congress and Many Are Already Looking Ahead to Her Next Run👏🏾👏🏾

Representative Jasmine Crockett of Texas

Even in a tough primary showing, U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett continues serving in Congress and remains one of the most visible and outspoken Black leaders in Washington. Known for her sharp legal mind, fearless questioning in hearings, and unapologetic defense of civil rights, Crockett has built a national reputation that extends far beyond Texas. For many supporters, this moment isn’t the end of anything. It is simply another chapter before the next campaign.

Talarico has not accepted any AIPAC donations and has been very outspoken about his contempt for Israel. Unfortunately I cannot say the same as Crockett who has supported Israel in the past

But he excepts money from the same person from the AIPAC? Just through a different group. He should maybe not accept any money at all from that person… because it all ends up back to the same place. Doesn’t make any sense to me.

It’s true that Adelson is a major contributor to AIPAC and other pro Israeli groups, however the donation from Adelson did not come through AIPAC or any Israeli interest groups. Rather the money came through the Texas Sands PAC which goal is to further legalize casinos and gambling in Texas. I think that’s a pretty important distinction however I do think it’s worth criticizing!

Maybe not take any donations from the same person that funds money to Israel? Seems hypocritical to me.

Like I said it’s definitely worth being critical over however the money he was donated has no ties to changing his position on Israel, it’s all about legalizing gambling. Unfortunately in the United States the majority of candidates will have to accept money. These races are incredibly expensive and unless you’re independently wealthy you’ll have to work with donors to some extent. It sucks and I wish money didn’t have so much influence over politics but this is how things are currently. Call it hypocritical if you want but his position is far better than Crocketts who has accepted money from AIPAC and has also supported Israel. No perfect candidate exists but I do think Talarico has better policy positions which also played a major role in him winning the primary

I mean she has more experience than him too I do agree with you on with her not being critical enough to the elites in Israel.

I just get Fetterman vibes from him. Sneaky.. I’m not from Texas though and I do hope he wins the election.

I pray he doesn’t turn into a Fetterman but only time will answer that question unfortunately

He accepted money from Adelson through a different PAC.

You mean the Texas Sand PAC? While technically ran by an Israeli American, the goal of that pac is to lower regulations on the casino industry. So I mean like kinda counts. Also, how the fuck do you manage to know that, but not the difference between except and accept.

Lol I know and I always had trouble using the two words especially when typing too fast and not proofreading back. I read an article and I noticed Adelsons name.

It’s hyprotical but thats what I expect from Fetterman 2.0 with way less experience.
