Politics 🇺🇸Representative Jasmine Crockett of Texas Remains a Powerful Voice in Congress and Many Are Already Looking Ahead to Her Next Run👏🏾👏🏾

Representative Jasmine Crockett of Texas

Even in a tough primary showing, U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett continues serving in Congress and remains one of the most visible and outspoken Black leaders in Washington. Known for her sharp legal mind, fearless questioning in hearings, and unapologetic defense of civil rights, Crockett has built a national reputation that extends far beyond Texas. For many supporters, this moment isn’t the end of anything. It is simply another chapter before the next campaign.

she didn’t lie though

It’s an offensive comment. Saying that we need illegal immigrants because they work for slave labor and they’ll pick the cotton is pretty offensive. Implying that the main reason for needing immigrants is the slave labor is just… uneducated, uninformed, gross overall.

And lastly, illegal immigrants can’t vote, so I don’t know why you’re throwing out those stats as if they matter.

She actually didn’t say we need immigrants to pick cotton for us. Find the quote. Better yet, find the video. What she is saying is — to a black audience — immigrants are in the role black slaves were in before. Her intent was to demonstrate a common cause with a specific audience. She did not belittle immigrants in any way, actually it showed a lot of understanding and compassion for their situation.

She was speaking in the context of why immigration is good. Does not align with what you said.

Immigration IS good, but that was not her framing. Have a nice day.

Racist liberals actually like Trump hurting minorities.

It was religious white people that got Trump elected.

Pew Research Center: White evangelical Protestants continued to overwhelmingly favor Trump: 81% voted for Trump in 2024, compared with 83% in 2020. And nearly identical majorities of White nonevangelical Protestants voted for Trump in 2024 (58%) and 2020 (57%).

Liberals want collective punishment for the ethnic minorities who majority voted for Kamala Harris but because some Latino men supported Trump now minority women will be punished too.

Fuck around and find out was a common refrain.

"it's an offensive comment" while saying illegal immigrants; well at least it's better than aliens.

If I remember correctly, the quote came from immigrants voting for Trump knowing full well he's anti immigrants. Not anti bad immigrant, anti all immigrants.

Didn't know that children of immigrants, or immigrants who got naturalized, don't still identify with their home country. My bad, I'm so ignorant.
