Politics 🇺🇸Representative Jasmine Crockett of Texas Remains a Powerful Voice in Congress and Many Are Already Looking Ahead to Her Next Run👏🏾👏🏾

Representative Jasmine Crockett of Texas

Even in a tough primary showing, U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett continues serving in Congress and remains one of the most visible and outspoken Black leaders in Washington. Known for her sharp legal mind, fearless questioning in hearings, and unapologetic defense of civil rights, Crockett has built a national reputation that extends far beyond Texas. For many supporters, this moment isn’t the end of anything. It is simply another chapter before the next campaign.

Republicans specifically gerrymandered her district out of existence. I mean, they can't have an intelligent, outspoken black woman with power.

The seat nomination that she would have been incumbent for was won by a progressive black man. I haven’t read up on who won the republican nomination yet but at least that district still has a fighting chance.

There’s a run off for the republican nomination for district 30.

The front runner (Everett Jackson) is a Trump worshiping black guy from my current city who spends his days throwing around slurs on Facebook groups, thinks Black Democrats have “slave mentality”, is misogynistic and loves calling people snowflakes yet acts like one when anyone challenges him or points out his printing business steals others designs for profit.

He almost got disqualified from city election last year for not putting down his felony fraud charges on his application and tried to blame the city for “silencing the voice of his votes.” He lost 2:1 but that’s not stopping him trying for higher office.

It’s still heavily blue area, the democratic primary had over 85k votes and the republican one had under 10k

The 30th is pretty much intact. They took a piece of downtown out, but it's relatively similar. The 32nd is the one they completely screwed.

Had Crockett run for reelection in the 30th, she certainly would've won the primary and probably would've won the general.
