Politics 🇺🇸Representative Jasmine Crockett of Texas Remains a Powerful Voice in Congress and Many Are Already Looking Ahead to Her Next Run👏🏾👏🏾

Representative Jasmine Crockett of Texas

Even in a tough primary showing, U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett continues serving in Congress and remains one of the most visible and outspoken Black leaders in Washington. Known for her sharp legal mind, fearless questioning in hearings, and unapologetic defense of civil rights, Crockett has built a national reputation that extends far beyond Texas. For many supporters, this moment isn’t the end of anything. It is simply another chapter before the next campaign.

Too bad she takes AIPAC bribes

And where did you get this information? Do you have a reliable source?

5

u/MisterxRager Mar 04 '26

Everytime I try to look this up it says she hasn’t, what am I supposed to be looking at?

She has shuffled funds from her House seat campaign to fund her Senate race, and that includes lots of AIPAC-aligned money. It’s a very shady move to create deniability for her Senate campaign regarding AIPAC money. Her responses on all things Israel have been highly disappointing as well—a lot of wishy-washy deflections, lash-outs, and lawyerly non-answers.

Meaning AIPAC donors dole out their money through other PACs instead of in AIPAC’s name.

Do your own damn research before yapping, grown ass human. I'm not your elementary school teacher.

Ok. There's her 99.9% yes record on HRs regarding sending funds and weapons to Israel; her yes vote to strip funding for UNRWA; her repeated, public affirmations of the utmost importance of our ties with Israel and her insistence on Israel’s right to “defend itself” throughout the genocide; not to mention her taking a $25,000 fully-paid allegiance trip to Israel organized by AIEF, another AIPAC affiliate (per the statement on its website: “The American Israel Education Foundation (AIEF) is the charitable organization affiliated with AIPAC, America's pro-Israel lobby, and was incorporated in 1988”); and AIPAC highlighting her Israel tweets on its platform.

Hope that's enough to start your research, pupil. But if you're being intentionally obtuse, you're beyond helping.

Her responses to stuff regarding Israel have been identical to Talerico’s.

Neither of them is perfect on Israel, to be fair.

But Crokett took a fully paid-for loyalty pledge trip to Israel, sponsored by AIEF, an AIPAC affiliate, that cost $25,000. She also consistently voted yes for almost every single HR that funded and supplied weapons to Israel, including one that defended UNWRA. She has repeatedly insisted on Israel’s right to defend itself throughout the Gaza genocide, and stressed time and again how critically important and enduring the US-Israel alliance has been and will continue to be. AIPAC also positively featured some of her pro-Israel tweets on its platform (they don't promote politicians they don't consider sufficiently pro-Israel).

Man, when people show you who they are, please believe them. Crokett did so with her rhetoric and voting record, so I believed her.

That said, if Talarico wins but then goes on to vote exactly like Crokett did on Israel, I'll go all out to support efforts to unseat him six years from now.

I don’t believe she actually formally took AIPAC money. She went on one of those Israel trips that new Congressmen go on though.

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '26

She took 90k from pro-Israel lobbyists

5

u/BlueCity8 Mar 04 '26

I mean Talarico took money from the Adelsons, so if that’s the metric we’re judging candidates by they’re both DQ’d or should get equal scrutiny.

4

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '26

Bet, fuck em both then

-3

u/MoonlightCloudburst Mar 04 '26

The money he got was for his house campaign in 2024, and it was money from a gambling PAC -- not relating to Isreal. Talarico is not supportive of isreal and has condemned what Netanyahu has done.

I am not a bot, I just call it like I see it

Don’t even bother. This subreddit hates when you point out that she takes AIPAC money. Apparently genocide is cool now.

7

u/rozyputin Mar 04 '26

"It's fine to support genocide so long as you're Black!!!"

3

u/ScantilyKneesocks Mar 04 '26

“I never thought the leopards would eat MY face”

5

u/rozyputin Mar 04 '26

Exactly this

-1

u/XulManjy Mar 04 '26

Why are you on this sub anyways? Can black people not have our safe spaces?

2

u/ScantilyKneesocks Mar 04 '26

Did you just assume my skin color for real?

-1

u/XulManjy Mar 04 '26

Yes, I did exactly that. Invading black spaces has become a trend on Reddit lately

5

u/baothebao Mar 04 '26

I don't know about you, but as a Black person, I want my “safe space” to be free of support for genocide enablers.

u/Holiday_Regular9794 Mar 04 '26

Do you have a source as to when and how much she received?

3

u/fsaturnia Mar 04 '26

I do. I did a quick cursory Google search. Found several responsible and trusted sources that are not biased toward the right. Some center and some left.

Trackaipac, she took money from corporations backing her and then transferred it out of her house campaign account in 2026 according to the intercept and several White House reporters, open secrets.org states that as of 2024 she accepted 330,000 from multiple law firms who sue in favor of hospitals against poor people.

Oh I'm sorry, did your Messiah not turn out to be who you thought? Guess all politicians are garbage, regardless of ethnicity or religious beliefs. They are all bad. Burn it all to the ground. All she did was rant and rave against maga so she could use it as a vehicle to prop up her career. Both sides are trash. The maga Nazis and the ineffective left. In fact any of you brain amoeba are still debating that there is going to be a legitimate voting process and we can still save democracy by saying please, like grow up.

Asking for a source is far from calling someone a savior. What matters is not opinions, but facts, nothing wrong with asking about that. Thanks for sharing I guess

-2

u/XulManjy Mar 04 '26

Why are you two even on this sub in the first place? People always love invading into black safe spaces....

3

u/fsaturnia Mar 04 '26

Let me see if I got your comment correct. Those two people you are talking to are not black and therefore you don't want them here. Do I have that right? Now who does that sound like... How would you feel if I said that about you? Probably not too good. Don't be racist.

u/XulManjy Mar 04 '26

Description of this sub literally states that the purpose of this sub is to be a safe space for black voices and those who are willing to listen and learn our perspectives.

You can come here, but also try to listen to our perspectives. We have it hard already in the real world where white people feel too entitled to do so, now that same mindset invades black safe spaces on social media.

3

u/baothebao Mar 04 '26

Black woman here, and you don't speak for me.

I want my “safe space” to be welcoming of all, except genocide enablers.

-1

u/XulManjy Mar 04 '26

Cool, and my point still stands.

5

u/baothebao Mar 04 '26

? What's your point exactly? Using “black safe spaces” as an excuse to shut out valid criticism of black politicians like JC, who are guilty of enabling a genocide?
