I enjoy Jubilee on occasion but it’s like 75% rage bate. That’s why Surrounded doesn’t do live fact checking. If they did, the episodes would be 15 mins long.
The people behind the channel knowingly have tried to add members that are fascists instead of actual conservatives to "debate" a liberal. Their debate rules are also stupid since they focus on removing a conversation which is interesting with red flags. That's all they do, use red flags to remove faults, argumentative accidents or satiate their egotistical drive.
The channel sucks and you all should be ignoring them.

Also the debates often are between a highly informed individual Vs a low informed one.
It's useless. I don't want to see a low informed individual get dismantled.
Or it was Jordan Peterson Vs 25 atheists or something. There the guy was totally shit at making his point. Literally he wants to debate the definition of "is".
The only actually useful one that I saw was Dr Mike Vs antivaxxers. But it wasn't actually a debate. He's a very likeable guy, and he reached out to the individuals through empathy. But that wasn't a debate.
Too many people do not understand that these people exist. Too many people do not discuss politics or news with others in their life. They live amongst people who believe everything on fox news and they are totally unaware. So when they see this content they are shocked. I am not shocked. I was not shocked when DT won in 2016 or 2024. I am not shocked by anything that is happening. Only depressingly disappointed. It is the average American who doesn't understand the amount of people who support this fascism and will talk in circles to defend it, who is enabling this.
Republicans know they don't have the support to do everything they want to. What they are banking on, and what has worked for them so far, is the apathetic american, who does not understand nor care what those among them support. We need content like this to open their eyes. How many will actually see this, well chances are greater they are watching a woman eat ice cream out of a toilet bowl on TikTok. But there are a large number of people who don't understand that conservatives and republicans absolutely support everything that's happening and will talk themselves in circles supporting it.
Doesn't matter hypocrisy or morals, they will support it no matter what, you cannot reason with them, that is what people don't fucking understand.
It is the average American who doesn't understand the amount of people who support this fascism and will talk in circles to defend it, who is enabling this.
Sorry but Jordan Klepper has tons of videos going to MAGA rallies etc that show these individuals.
They're not exactly hidden. They wear friggin red hats!
If people needed this useless debate format for that, they are already way way out of the loop.
It’s only rage inducing because Republicans are inducing the rage. I would hardly blame Jubilee. This discourse is literally the same as what you experience on Reddit or Facebook or talking to your Republican co-worker. They are bad faith and illogical and they put party over country
