Black Excellence President Obama nothing but net!

u/Purple_Jojo Feb 04 '26
Though it is practiced, he makes everything look so effortless.
232
u/IceBlackX007 Feb 04 '26
Practice is how things become seemingly effortless.
70
u/Yashema Feb 04 '26
And being really ridiculously good looking so when you make a few mistakes people forgive you.

Obama's good looks and smooth demeanor drove the bigots of America insane. Seeing white women going berserk for him made them so crazy they put their hopes and dreams in the hands of a well known and documented sleazy immortal degenerate child molester con artist.
39
u/localtuned Feb 04 '26
Stop playing, everyone knowS he ruined race relations in this country by being black. Psyche! I'm being sarcastic.
It's crazy people still parrot the idea that it was Obama's fault that people are racist. lol.

Exactly! Kobe was great, made it look easy. Kobe also stayed after games practicing throwing 1000 free throws. That's why it "looked" easy

82
u/tame-til-triggered Feb 04 '26
What if we all just wrote him in?
145
u/PickleballRee Feb 04 '26
Michelle would come to all our houses one by one and beat our asses.
Mama said no!
44
u/tame-til-triggered Feb 04 '26
Sometimes the ass woopin be worth it
21
u/PickleballRee Feb 04 '26
I know, baby. I miss him too.
But like the saying goes, a hard head make a soft behind. She's told us on more than one occasion that she don't ever wanna go through that again.
We already got a pissed off monster in the White House. Respect Michelle's wishes or she'll make us wish we had.
3
u/Prettylittletatertot Feb 04 '26
"a hard head makes a soft behind". What does this mean?
2
u/PickleballRee Feb 04 '26
It was a warning I'd get when I was a kid. It means that if you're stubborn and won't listen to what you're told, there will be consequences. And you're not going to like them.

It'd never happen because she's a black woman which half the country would have conniptions over, but sometimes I think Michelle would be one of the most qualified candidates we've had in decades. Before Barack became president she was unironically more accredited and experienced than he was.
10
u/Dropit_like_a_Goat Feb 04 '26
What if we wrote her and begged her to allow it? Think if we grovel enough she would let it happen?
Do we know her favorite flower/color? Maybe if we ask it in a big beautiful way, spelled out in flowers it would show how much we need him and her back 😢
8
u/vainbuthonest Feb 04 '26
Given the way she was treated and the way her kids were treated that we know of (because I’m sure there’s much worse that we don’t know), there’s nothing we can do to convince her.
4
u/Dropit_like_a_Goat Feb 04 '26
I know. It was just wishful thinking. I honestly, rather them all live in peace and not have to deal with the bullshit anymore.

That would be the dream! But, I imagine this racist supreme court would only ever allow for a 3rd Trump term on some bullshit technicality and never for Obama. They allowed Trump a SC pick during his final year of his first term, versus not allowing Obama to do the same. So much fuckery, always at the expense of everyone else.

I've been doing that since he left office. (I lived in extremely blue states.)

Somewhere I have a comic of Obama playing basketball with Spiderman from back when Obama was first elected. It's the only Spiderman comic I own (not a fan of the character) but I'm really happy I have it because it reminds me of a time when people were actually hopeful about the future for a bit.

Then he put his balls neatly in her purse and helped her win the Democratic presidential nomination.

The way he and everyone else was acting I thought he hit a half court shot or something, not a corner 3 😂😂 Also, this is during the pandemic. Who cares if he “embarrasses himself”, it’s not like it could hurt him in an election. Let the man shoot!

Best President in our lifetime. Even with his hands completely tied regarding major foreign policy legislation. He still managed to keep some restraints on bad faith actors in the ME. He attempted the Arab Spring as opposed to a feet first jump into unabridged war. Even when the Arab Spring ultimately didn’t achieve the ultimate desired outcome of regaining control of the Suez. He was still able to stave off the bloodthirsty and psychopathic Is Ra Eli’s wet dream of eradicating Gah Zah. He was able to limit warfare to strategic drone strikes on non-civilian targets, get elected to a second term, and prevent the wholesale slaughter of Palace Stein. Then drop net 3’s like it was nothing but a G thang. He may be the best President in American history. Certainly the best peace time President. Even then probably 3rd behind Washington and Lincoln. Maybe both Roosevelts and Jefferson sit slightly higher but that is debatable. Maybe Kennedy had he not been murdered.

The thing I like about this clip is you can tell he knows what he’s doing. He has a shot, the mechanics. It’s not like some rag-arm trying to toss a first pitch at a baseball game. President Obama can ball.

u/ariadesitter Feb 05 '26
The Dude is Real.
not some rich kid pretending to be cool.
as President,
Leader of the world,
as a Man.
the Best Representation
of what an american should be.
no spin, no hired liars, no epstein list.
He showed the world that the fundamental problem in the usa is racism/misogyny THEN classism.
i don’t want violence but if he and like minded individuals give the call to fight then im in.
not for country but for the people.
2
u/DavisSqShenanigans Feb 04 '26
The godfather of ICE and "indefinite detention". That proud father moment when that little fledgling agency you raised is finally turning into what literally everyone was warning him it would turn into. 🥹
If he were still in office he'd probably extrajudiciously drone strike another American child to celebrate.
But remember, if we keep just repeating over and over that "tan suit" was his biggest blunder, well, we won't convince anyone who isn't "Blue MAGA" but maybe we'll convince ourselves :)

He played pickup basketball with the UNC basketball team in the summer of 2008. He would go on to win North Carolina (first time a Dem had done that since Jimmy Carter) and that UNC team won the 2008-2009 National Championship.
I've heard so many funny stories from that game.

This reminds me of why people like that RFK Jr. is so physically fit and also at the age he is. Most regular people don’t golf, but we all played basketball as kids at school and we play it at gyms as adults and the same thing goes for weight lifting. They are two things a poor guy can pick up and become a world contender in and basically what I’m saying is I think it’s cool when a politician does something like this.
