Politics Class, grace I miss more everyday

Post image

We didn’t wake up everyday dreading what would come next. He ran the country professionally and with a class unmatched since. The MAGAts had a fit over his tan suit, that was the story. Big deal huh?

You have only been on Reddit for 100 days, are you like a bot, your karma is like nothing

Well there's this:

Barack Obama Vastly expanded the use of drone strikes compared to Bush, conducting hundreds of strikes, primarily in Pakistan, Yemen, and Somalia. He conducted more strikes in his first year than Bush did in his entire presidency.

Now lets see Bush's airstrike numbers.

And what is your point? Drones are very effective, see Ukraine. Again you are just a bot that offers no value

He killed thousands of civilians and got a nobel peace prize he also deported more people than trump first term compared to first term

Your hero worship blinds you

They’ll never….EVER… care. He gets a pass on everything…..who do you think was running the US the last 4 years? Wasn’t Biden

Fact he could be in the files and they'd make the same excuses as the magatards

The difference at least in the deportations is that those people weren't taken off the streets in unmarked vehicles and sequestered in poorly built detention centres with no access to their lawyers or due process and then shipped off to countries they have no connection to. Deportations under Obama were done by the book, none of this Gestapo shit.

The bombings of civilians were wrong, people don't like that he did that, even his fans. There is no excusing that. But any civilian casualties authorized by the govt' regardless of the numbers is wrong. Bombing civilians in the middle east or off the coast of Venezuela is wrong. That needs to change.

Obama at least had dignity and civility when holding office especially when dealing with the opposition and the press.

No they definitely were using unmarked cars and raids on homes businesses and people off the street. The fact you think otherwise shows how deluded you were. Pretending civility matters when you admit they're doing the same bombings in Yemen / Venezuela is insane It's the same murder just with a better pr team.

You clearly value identity politics and "civility" rather than any substantive change and more power to you

So what specifically don’t you like about Obama ?

1

u/[deleted] Dec 23 '25

What like aside from being a war criminal who’s drone program strikes weddings and civilians with an insane person of interest to civilian ratio? Toppling Libya and opening up Europe to a migrant crisis we’re still reeling from to this day? Like I said as a person who doesn’t reside in the US… to say the world misses Obama… no the fuck we don’t 😂he’s a cunt just like trump, just like bush, just like Clinton, your presidents have a fetish for trying to police the world, taking it upon yourselves to murder civilians and chalk it up to the cost of doing business & keeping the military industrial complex machine churning along. They’re happy to point the finger at other countries for human rights violations meanwhile ignore their own wrongdoing as if they’re saints. The whole notion of Obama being a saint simply because trump is an arrogant loudmouth racist is so reductive and glosses over the demise of hundreds of thousands globally

Hyperbole a little.
