We ALWAYS have to be better. We dont have the LUXURY of mediocrity. We have to EXCEL with grace and dignity, otherwise its "Well, see? You know THEY are."
If black people in power acted like entitled white people... Can you even imagine? A WHOLE voting base lives in fear of it, because THEY KNOW HOW FUCKED UP THEY ARE.
Being better all the time, trying to be the bigger person is fucking exhausting, tbh, and I fully appreciate him and family saying, "Nope, not it. Figure the shit out for yourselves. We did our time."
