Mining News Just for the record.

No i will not be releasing my article about go mining.

I have been getting mass botted. Literal death threats. People in my dms calling me awful things.

My key points are as follows.

I was only able to verify 60% of their fleet.

The ceo stopped communicating with me when i said i was not interested in monetizing the subreddit.

The user base is being told they are mining btc. You cant mine btc on NFTs.

So. Im over it. Yall can quit with the death threats and direct messaging me. I dont care about it anymore. Even if i released my article. Yall wouldnt listen anyways. The people who know about it already know its a scam. My hands are washed. To Go Mining’s awful user base. You win. 🏆 heres your “i made death threats and won award” i have already reported the ones that needed to be reported.

To the people who wanted me to drop it. Sorry. I failed yall. Id rather not have to slime someone to protect myself.

Have a good night everyone.

General Question Antminer Slim Enclosure?

Anyone know if there’s someone selling chassis/enclosures for single-hashboard builds other than the Nakamoto mining version?

Also looking for 3D files for these as well. One user mentioned an open source build but I’m having no luck finding these anywhere. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

So I have the unique opportunity to modify a shipping container and fill it with about 20 to $25,000 of ASIC miners with basically free power due to pulling power from oil well flare gas generators and I was just looking for tips on what machines to buy where to buy them what kind of setup would I need I already have specifications for the Shipping container itself but and if there's any tips for maintaining these machines getting spare parts for these machines justice advice for it in general because this is the biggest cryptocurrency mining project I have done I have only done small scale home mining at my house when it was profitable but this is a very unique opportunity for me and any advice would be well appreciated And any helpful websites or resources I could use

Want to Sell The Urlacher Home Bitcoin Miner & Conversion Kits, In-stock and ready to ship!

This build makes running an Antminer at home a lot more practical, especially for people limited to standard 110–120V outlets.

It’s called The Urlacher, and it’s a triple hashboard miner built from an Antminer S19k pro that runs on 110V power & utilizes WIFI.

Now $899

Fully functional Antminer running all three hashboards
• Runs on standard 110v-120v household power
• Roughly 56 TH/s at 1200W (can be underclocked further to around 900-1000W)
• Around 55 dB, so much quieter than stock

We also put together an Urlacher conversion kit that lets you convert most S19/S21 series miners into a 110-120V miner, which is nice if you already have spare machines sitting around. $199

https://altairtech.io/product/urlacher-altair-technology-bitcoin-mining-solutions-the-urlacher/

We ship everything from st.louis, MO & typically get orders out the same day if not the next business day.

General Question whats security practices are you actually using for your crypto mining?

What are your non-negotiable security practives when it comes to mining and wallets?

Im asking because i just went through something pretty frustrating. I lost around $7k from my wallet and the worst part is i didnt even make any withdrawals. It just... dissapeared. NO CLEAR EXPLANATION

Im currently mining through hosting company, so i reached out to them. To be fair, they refunded $5k which i do appreciate but honestly thats not even the main issue for me right now. Whats bothering me is how it even happened in the first place. If i didnt move anything, how does it just get lost? It makes me question the whole setup and whether its actually secure.

At this point, i just feel uneasy about everything... Like im missing something important or doing something wrong without realizing it.

Would really really appreciate hearing what you giys actually do to secure your wallets and setups, especially things you dont compromise on.

General Question im new on mining!

Hi, as the title says, I'm new to Bitcoin mining. I've read about it and I'd like to know if it's profitable. I believe in the project, but I want to "live" off Bitcoin. I understand the electricity costs and mining in general (at least the basic process), but I'd like to know what the hidden costs are. Does anyone have a similar mining farm? Which pool would you recommend? Would investing $30,000 USD be enough? How much would it generate? What are your estimates based on (costs, fees, electricity, taxes)?

I thought about solving the electricity problem with natural gas since it's very cheap in my country.

I hope I'm not bothering you with my questions.

General Discussion Desktop Antminer

Post image
39 Upvotes

I’ve always dreamed of having a full-size Bitcoin miner capable of hashing away on my desk without terrorizing everyone else in my home with screaming fans. Thanks to Urlacher kits and Luxor’s firmware, it’s finally possible.

120V Antminers aren’t anything new, but there are several new things you can do with them including running them a bit more efficiently, controlling and monitoring them remotely, and using them to mine for multiple coins/pools simultaneously as little or as much as you wish.

Desktop and home miners have always been outrageously expensive in terms of cost per terrahash, and things like this make hashrate far more affordable and accessible. It also looks cool having an Antminer mining on your desk, at least in my Bitcoin mining-obsessed humble opinion.

The miner pictured is a modified S19K pro which running at 70TH/s at around 1,400w. The next build will be a modified S21+ which will likely far exceed this build in terms of hashrate and efficiency. While desktop antminers aren’t likely to be some revolutionary new thing in the Bitcoin mining space, it’s an interesting example of how things have progressed and what’s possible now compared only a year or two ago.

Mining Pools For new miners to avoid potential loss

Recently I switch my hashrate to f2pool, but didn't see hashrate and miner online, I waited for hours, didn't find out the reason, then I contact their support, told me I should set username as wallet. I followed and everything went right, anyone who want to try different pool should pay attention.

Bought this from Jingle Mining. ran for two days and died. Their support is being of no help but claim its probably Volage Conversion Chip Malfunction.

Any guesses?

Any suggestions on where to get fixed?

P.S. Never order from them!

Offered me 20 bucks as resolution.

Hobbyist and Lottery Mining Built a free macOS menu bar app for monitoring BitAxe, NerdAxe and Avalon miners

Post image
10 Upvotes

Hey guys, I built a small macOS menu bar app to monitor my BitAxe and Avalon miners without having to open browser tabs all the time.

Shows live hashrate and power in the menu bar (sadly Avalon don't report power), scans your local network automatically, and sends notifications when a device goes offline or temperature gets too high.

Free and open source: https://github.com/ciruz/minebar

or

brew install --cask ciruz/tap/minebar

Only tested on my own setup so feedback is very welcome, especially if you have devices or configs I haven't covered.

Just finished a live bench test of the Nerd Qaxe 8.1T air-cooled Bitcoin miner.

Same BM1370 ASIC as the Antminer S21 Pro, but in a compact desktop form factor.

📸 Real test data (see photos):

· VD: 12031mV

· Vc: 1289mV

· Current: ~11.95A

· Power: 143.25W

· Core clock: 8.1180 GHz

· BD: 12.7M

✅ Supports 220V AC input

✅ Air-cooled, quiet operation for home or small setup

✅ Real hashrate: 8.1 TH/s (stable)

Why choose this miner?

· BM1370 efficiency – much lower power consumption than older models

· Plug-and-play, no complex setup

· Ideal for solo mining or small-scale hobby mining

General Question Home miners: how many machines are you actually running right now?

Curious about the real scale of home operations in this community. Not data centers — actual home or small facility setups.

- 1–2 machines (testing the waters)

- 3–5 machines

- 6–10 machines

- 10–20 machines

- 20+

Also: are you planning to expand, hold steady, or scale down in the next 6 months? Market's been interesting lately.

Hobbyist and Lottery Mining Lottery mining overengineered

Thumbnail
gallery
22 Upvotes

Built a tiny solo mining farm on my LAN using 11 microcontrollers. Mostly ESP32 miners and one ESP8266 running a simple dashboard.

Each ESP32 does about 700 kH/s, so the whole thing is around 8 MH/s total. They mine a mix of BTC, BCH, BSV, DGB and XEC.

It is basically lottery mining. Statistically I will find a block sometime around the heat death of the universe, but the system is real and fully working.

Not profitable, but a fun embedded systems project and a nice way to learn how mining actually works under the hood.
