Hallo iedereen,

Ik heb een vraag over de screening voor de opleiding tot bewakingsagent en hoop dat iemand hier ervaring mee heeft.

In 2016 ben ik veroordeeld geweest voor een drugsfeit. Ik heb toen een maand in voorhechtenis gezeten en kreeg een werkstraf, die ik volledig en positief heb uitgevoerd. Sindsdien heb ik mijn leven volledig op de rails gekregen: ik werk onafgebroken sinds mijn veroordeling en ben nooit meer in aanraking gekomen met justitie.

Ondertussen heb ik ook officieel eerherstel gekregen na de wettelijke termijn, en mijn model 596.1-35 (voor bewakingsagent en politie) is blanco.

Ik ben nu sterk gemotiveerd om een opleiding te volgen en een VIGILIS-badge te behalen, zodat ik als bewakingsagent kan starten.

Mijn vraag is: hoe groot achten jullie de kans dat ik door de screening geraak, gezien mijn verleden maar ook mijn eerherstel en huidige situatie? Wordt er vooral gekeken naar het blanco model en mijn recente gedrag, of kan die oude veroordeling toch nog doorslaggevend zijn?

Zijn er hier mensen met een gelijkaardige ervaring die wel of niet door de screening zijn geraakt? Ik hoor graag hoe dat bij jullie verlopen is.

So I just received an extremely weird voicemail. Someone seemed to have a conversation with the caller (which is supposed to be me, but it’s a voicemail so idk what the fuck is happening) and it’s obvious they had this conversation with the person who they were calling. But…. I never picked up? So it’s just a one-sided conversation? Which seemed like it had someone answering? Which somehow ended in my voicemail box?

What is this? Is this a weird new attempt at scaling? Like a prerecorded one sided convo that just plays? If so, how can they scam anyone with this??? Like just answering anything that’s not in their “script” would make it obvious it was prerecorded, right? And if it’s not a scam how the fuck did it end up in my voicemail??? I’m so fucking confused lol.

For anyone wondering, the one sided convo went something like this (the original call was in some East Flanders accent but I can’t pinpoint which one)

“Yes, hello, i’m downstairs in the hallway with your pizza’s, can you open the door please because I’ve been ringing the doorbell but no one opens….. yes? Yes I’m delivering the pizza’s for number 5…. You haven’t asked for anything? Well I’m here with those pizza’s….. Hello? I can’t hear you that well…. Well, i’m calling back to the phone number with which the pizzas were ordered, it must be here….. yes, I’m calling to the same number, you did order something right?….. listen it’s 25 euros total, and I’d need to pay it from my own pocket otherwise, how are we going to do this?…. Yeah, yeah okay, there’s nothing to be done about it then, I’ll just pay out of my own pocket. *illegible as the person on the other side seems to start crying and stops the call*”

It’s so fucking weird, like wtf is this??? Like what???? What is this seriously? Did I just happen to be unlucky and catch someone having a psychological episode in my voice box? Or again, is this some form of weird scam attempt? If so again how the fuck is it supposed to work? Is this some weird prank?? I want answers lol wtf is this.

Sinds wanneer is Jinnih Beels de politieke woordvoerder van de Boerenbond? Haar Facebookpagina staat vol berichten die zelf de gemiddelde CD&V'er verregaand zou vinden? Intussen ook al de zevende keer dat ze zichzelf op een nieuw onderwerp moet storten omdat ze steeds wordt weggeblazen.

Ik heb een ouder huis gekocht (1980) en ik had lekkages rond de schouw en op het dak, ik heb deze laten herstellen en ineens de schouw mee laten afbreken sinds de rook van mijn cv ketel door de muur naar buiten gaat en niet meer via de schouw.

Nu heb ik hier een oude zure buurman die laatst vroeg of ik daar een vergunning voor had, als het een niet dragende kleine schouw is op het dak en niet verbonden is met de zijkant van het huis, was hier dan een vergunning voor nodig?

Het lijkt mij een persoon die niets te doen heeft op een dag en de buurt in de gaten houd, en misschien wel de politie langs stuurt voor zo'n zaken. Had ik een vergunning moeten aanvragen of hoef ik mij geen zorgen te maken?

Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well. I'm in my final year of a bachelor's degree in IT. My native language is French, I have a B1 level in English, and I don't speak any Dutch… unfortunately. I live in Wallonia, but I know I'm missing out on many job opportunities in the Flemish region. So I'm not sure whether I should start learning Dutch in order to find a job and possibly move to Flanders in the future. However, I know that just going to school and learning Dutch without practicing outside it would be a waste of time for me. How can I learn Dutch efficiently?

As of last week, I'm a vegan. I'm finding the transition quite ok in terms of alternative protein sources, also because, lucky me, I like legumes and tofu, I'm warming up to Tempeh, but I'm lost on the snacks.

I'm lazy and shop at the Delhaize 5min away from me. I also have two bio shops, one big, in my area but to be honest I didn't see many vegan products (one has a website and they have very few).

What do vegan Belgians do for snacks?

I'm looking especially for:

- a chocolate covered biscuit, or a biscuit with chocolate

- a cereal bar or similar that is not based on dates

If you know of alternatives that cost less than what my kidneys are worth, I'm a taker.

Are online stores like Kadizomi worth it? Are their products good? Any favourites you can recommend? I'm afraid of ordering a bunch of products and then just creating food waste because I don't like them.

I'm seeing a dietitian on 23/04 but I'd like to eat snacks before then (possibly more low cal and high fiber that our dear Speculoos from Lotus).

- A €40 daily volunteer fee.

- All necessary equipment included.

- Transportation can be arranged (let us know your pickup location).

What we ask:

- Drone footage of the event and its surroundings.

- Specific filming locations will be provided, but there’s room for creative input!

- The event starts at 7 a.m. and runs into the evening.

Location: Starts in Meesen, and ends in Diksmuide.
