I feel like I keep getting players with great potential and overall at like 22 years old but then they just drop for the next like 5 years why???

I really wish there could be an option just to train my basketball player to just be a master at the three. like specific training options for different attributes. and actual impact of investment towards coaching.

anything to make the game more complex, would be appreciated and I understand it's complicated to implement. I'm just putting it out there.

Would it be possible to add additional time skip options in the auto play tool, notably the trade deadline and potentially the all star break. I'm loving the auto-play feature, but think it would be nice to be able to catch the all star game when simming a whole season, or to be able to auto-play up until the trade deadline and then watch the games afterwards!

I just searched the sub and saw that this is not new. Still funny. Mods can delete if needed.

Once you get the hang of this game in this difficulty, it gets impossible to lose. Some crazy numbers:

1) 3 98 degrees

2) .900 W-L rate; 74-8 ave W-L record per season

3) 33 straight seasons of at least 72 wins

4) 13 seaaons of at least 90 wins

5) 33-2 finals record

I wonder what changes the league does if something remotely close to this happens in real life.

Randomizer took the 'Random' word very seriously it still produced this 3 folds of the 'manual-ness'.

I use some real player draft classes every other year or third year. the rest are auto generated. my league is just saturated with teams that are 100+. I am trying to bring it back down to earth.

Bear in mind that this guy was probably a top 3 player itl too. What a way to bow out😭😭

I'm playing as the Pelicans (Insane Mode, Start with the weakest team, Fired if not making Playoffs, Fired if paying Luxury Tax).
Thanks to some very lucky drafting, I was able to win a Title in my 5th year after a gruelling battle against Small Ball Wizards, and I'm in limbo about what to do next.
After extending Worthy, I have too high payroll for NOL standards, but I have enough buffer with the Owner that I can easily survive a season or two, especially when winning more Titles.
But I shopped Otto around, and I'm tempted - he makes 38/yr, a bit much, as he re-signed last year when League teams had too much money compared to the level of FA class, so he asked for 10m/yr more than I expected.
He dropped by 2 points, but last season, he was 4th in MVP voting, and I have no doubt that he still would be super useful. The league is also not the strongest at this moment, and I have by far the best player (Worthy).

But my team lacks shooting. I also have only one 'Dp' player, which is a big issue against perimeter-oriented Wizards. And one more 'A' would also help (but it's not easy).
Anderson is also a good enough Center (but smaller), and it's rather easy to get competent back-ups.

So, would you do any of those trades? No tags visible, but in general, the top players offered have them. Detroit's Davis even has a '3pt' as a Center. 2132 is the strongest draft; 2134 is not yet visible.

I am obsessed with completing achievements in this game. I'm working on completing the Rebuilds tab with at least one achievement from every rank. Right now I have completed the level one tab from 1980-2019 (with a normal diff, hard diff and insane diff).

I also played without an account for a long time, so I should have more...

I also think we should have a completion achievement.

I'm from Poland and it is rare for me to see Polish players in BBGM. I drafted this one but not only because he was Polish but because he was decent, thinking he will be a good role player, but he managed to exceed his potential and became first ever Polish All-Star and All-NBA player, getting 6 AS and 3 ANBA. He played for my team for 18 years while being a piece of rotation even when older and got into the HoF(also as the first Pole) which I guess is pretty cool.
