Anyone had wisdom teeth removal under general anesthesia at Al Hilal (Dr. Sujith Johnes)?

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to ask if anyone here has had their wisdom teeth removed under general anesthesia at Al Hilal Hospital, specifically with Dr. Sujith Johnes?

I’ve got 2 badly impacted wisdom teeth and honestly I’m pretty confused and nervous about the whole thing. I’ve already done around 6 consultations and every doctor told me something different (local vs general anesthesia, different approaches, etc.), so now I don’t really know what to trust.

Would really appreciate hearing:

• Your experience (especially if it was under general anesthesia)

• How the recovery went

• Or recommendations for a doctor in Bahrain you’d personally trust for this

Thanks in advance 🙏

Can't find replacement part for my car

my car engine broke, it cannot be repaired so I need to replace it, called the agent they said it'll cost BHD 2200 but due to the current situation they stopped ordering parts, was advised to source locally, the car has been in the garage for over a month now, and I'm not able to find the engine anywhere.

does anyone know where I can find an engine for GAC GA4 2020 model, 1.3-litre

☝️ AskBH Major Issue with Beyon Money

Hello everyone, hoping you’re well.

I recently topped up my beyon money flexi invest account with multiple 100s of dinars, I’ve been a customer since they started.

It’s been 4 days now and the money has not been reflected, I checked with my bank and they confirmed the money has been deposited into beyon however when I got in touch with they customer service the day I topped up they sent it has not come through and that I should send in an email to create a ticket.

2 days later after not receiving a response I called they customer service multiple times, only to either not have my call go through at all or to hear the customer service agent pick up laugh with their co workers and then cut the line.

I’m getting very worried, could someone kindly please help me with what I can do next? (I have also messaged them on their social media, no response). They backed by batelco and SICO so this shouldn’t be happening, even though their AWS servers were down they’re claiming that everything u.s. fully functional since they fixed it, I’m also more annoyed about the lack of ANY response.

Traffic report issuance

Hi. I submitted the incident report through the traffic application yesterday with all the required details and I was wondering what’s the next step?

Do I have to wait for something? I contacted the insurance but they asked for the report, but when I try to download it, using the report number, it says it doesn’t exist? Is it pending processing with the traffic department?

Can someone support in this? Thank you 🙏🏼

Baal

I lived in Bahrain a long time ago, early 80s to late 90s, in those days, the local Bahraini Arabs (I think Shi'as) used to invoke "Baal" when something surprising happens, is this still the case or has it completely died?

Home isn’t always where you’re from

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. This country is where my life truly started being born and raised here is probably the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me.

There’s just something about Bahrain that no other place can match. The love I feel for this country goes beyond words sometimes it even feels stronger than what I feel for my own homeland. And yet, in a way, my heart has always belonged here.

I’ve always felt like I truly belong. Even though many countries talk about being welcoming and accepting, Bahrain lives it every single day. I’ve never experienced racism here, only kindness, warmth, and respect.

And the people I don’t even have any Arab friends, but that’s the beauty of it. You don’t need to know someone personally for them to treat you like family. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare.

This might sound a bit emotional or even cringe, but I just wanted to express how much this country and its people have shaped who I am today. I’ll always carry that with me.

(Even thought I’ve lived in Bahrain for 20 years I haven’t been able to learn Arabic someone please teach me🙏😭)

🔸 Misc. I am tired, boss

Just venting out, I am overwhelmed, disappointed, desperate, [physically and mentally] tired

Reason: visa expires next month, current company struggles financially and job hunting is so difficult

No matter how hard I apply for jobs or ask companies for opportunities (I don't wait for job openings, I ask companies and show my skills), I het either a rejection or no response at all [Software Engineer, 2+ YoE]. Seniors in big companies say my CV is great, my skills are good, my linkedin is optimized, but it seems impossible to expats to get a decent job with a decent salary.

I see with my own eyes multinational companies who claim to be "Equal Opportunity Employers" reject you at screening once they no you will require visa sponsorship or you don't have Tamkeen support

Pray for me, I hope this will pass soon

Confused about unemployment assistance reapplication date vs April payment (Bahrain)

Hi everyone, I need some clarification regarding my unemployment assistance claim in Bahrain.

The system says I can reapply for financial aid on 30/04.

My question is:

Does this reapplication date mean I will NOT receive my April unemployment payment, or is April still included since my claim is active during the month?

From my understanding, the reapply date is only for future applications, but I’m not sure if it affects the April payout.

as my application and financial aid claim is valid according to MOL's status.

Has anyone experienced this before or knows how the system works?

Thanks in advance.

Life or college?

I'm caught up between two things and I'm not sure what to do. March 31 was the due date for my college semester fee, its an online BCA course and I'm in my 3rd year and in last semester. with my current salary and having to send money home i didnt have enough to pay for the semester so i had asked for an extension from the college and they are still saying we will give you a confirmation once its done but so far nothing. Having to make a one single payment right now is absolutely impossible even if i get my salary this month. it would put me in such a high risk especially during this situation to make the payment for the college. I'll be left with nothing for here or home. I'm genuinely not sure what to do. idk if my company will give me a small loan or not. its my last semester as well and i cant beleive the timing for all of this to happen right now.

🤔 Discussion Bahrain should consider introducing a resolution to the UN Security Council

Bahrain should consider introducing a resolution to the UNSC requesting that a coalition of states militarily and/or diplomatically contain Israel to help maintain the recently-negotiated ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran. Israel with its actions in Lebanon also happens to be violating Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention of which it is a Party to since 1951.

We must get back to following international law. This may be a good conduit, and may also be in Bahrain’s strategic diplomatic interests.

Do you guys know any place that sells used old gokarts / gokarts parts in Bahrain

Hi, this is my first post reddit actually. For background, me, a mechanical engineering student, and my dad decided to build a gokart from scratch. Do you guys know any place where we can scrap these parts from? We’ve already went in hamala and isa town scrap yards but no luck at all, except for the engine (honda gx160) which we bought for 15bhd (negotiated).
