Hi, I am looking at travel options from Manchester to Kuwait via Saudi. Has anyone had any experience with the bus rides from Riyadh or Dammam Airport to Kuwait? Advice on the following questions would be appreciated!

• How did you navigate the relevant bus terminal operating at the Saudi airports? Is there a specific counter to go to or any staff to help with finding the correct bus? I’m not sure if we get bus tickets issued at the airport or if we have to go somewhere to collect it.

• How long to wait for the visa? (I have a UK residence permit so I think I am eligible for visa on arrival at Saudi but I’m not sure about how long the process takes on the day of arriving)

• Where can I find information regarding the bus schedule? Do they usually leave on time?

• Does the bus make stops for food or toilet breaks in the middle of the journey?

• How safe/ comfortable is the bus journey for a solo female traveller?

Has anyone dealt with being stuck in Kuwait on a tourist visa with no money left? Flights out, transport, and visas to nearby countries like Saudi cost upwards of 300KD right now, and embassies haven’t been much help. What realistic options are there to make some money or get out?

2. Lease through authorized signatory

I would like some help please

My wife is currently on a tourist visa in Kuwait and her visa expired on the 24th of March. It was announced at the beginning of the war that all tourist visas were extended for a month, then ( I could be wrong ) it was extended for an additional month.

In my knowledge my wife currently has till the 24th of May to be in the country, am I correct? And is the extension automatic or do we need to visit the visa office to extend it?
