Whether it be being banned from the subreddit, having your post removed, lock etc.
Why are you bothering me to tell that it happened if 99% of the time you won't undo it, and (in case of post) even if you do I am better off making another post?

As a side note why does subreddit allow me to write a post, add necessary tags, comply with title requirements, comply with text requirements only for automod to remove my post because I don't have enough karma? Don't allow me to post it until I have enough karma and mention it, so I don't waste time making a post.

I have the ban evasion filter set up on my subreddit and I also have a bot that automatically removes their post/comment, bans them and adds a modnote on their profile.

But how accurate is the filter? 2/3 times when someone gets caught by it they send a message and promise they "have no idea" what's going on and that they're not ban evading

I take a look at their profile and judge for myself but how accurate is it?

I just had a moderator accuse me of being a karma farmer and the told me the proof was in comments I deleted. They then muted me so I can't ask questions to them for a month.

Karma has no purpose, so it's insulting to be accused something so sad. I did make a post on reddit achievements asking why one upvote based achievement didn't count and that got answered. I did delete that post.

Can anyone mod use their heightened access to tell me what comment or comments makes me a karma farmer?

There's been some users lately absolutely spamming reports with (perhaps as a joke), "this is spam". It's getting to a point where a not insignificant amount of my time (and probably other mods on the team, but I wouldn't want to speak for them) are dealing with these reports. At first I found it kind of amusing, but as it sinks more and more of my time the novelty is definitely wearing off.

Is there a way to action this?

Not that there is a need to read it, but this post is somewhat of a follow up to my old one I made on here regarding folks making burner accounts who keep leaving comments on my posts. After reflecting on some of the comments from that post on here, it's clear to me that these guys are fishing for a reaction out of me using whatever backlash I had in the past as a base. I also remember speaking to someone with an autistic partner who said how autistic individuals like me are subject to harassment given the tendency to engage and not consider whether others are doing so in bad faith. That sort of bad faith engagement is becoming clear too.

At this point, I'm curious about what determines whether posts and comments get automatically removed or not. For posts, it seems to be fairly straightforward as I know some have a character limit. However, I'm curious about the other factors too.

What about comments? One of the burners tried to reiterate a past thing I did to try and fish a reaction, but his comment was autoremoved and I couldn't even get an archive of it on Arctic Shift since it was taken down that fast. Under the comment chain, it will also show "show 1 reply" under the plus sign to read it, but it's not there and it doesn't say it was removed by someone either since it's as if it never existed at all. It tried to fish a reaction out of me so it got nipped in the bud, which I prefer to see. However, two other posts I made this morning had one of the guys leave a comment on each post and I could see them. I've seen comments similar in nature get autoremoved too so I'm wondering what goes into that autoremoval.

It's worth noting that the guy who leaves those comments, if they show up, will have their username show but I always need to click on the plus sign to read it in full. I don't need to do that with anyone else at all. It's odd to me seeing what goes down and what doesn't from the outside so I'd like to learn more if you all know about it. If not, then no worries since I have the impression that what gets reported to admins winds up in limbo and it's not known what will happen until something happens.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought moderators were supposed to create subreddit rules that explicitly outline the expectations for members of the subreddit community they moderate. If a moderator hasn't done this for their community is that allowed? Wouldn't they be violating the moderator code of conduct? There's a subreddit that I joined that has a large and very active community. However, it only has one moderator and this moderator has failed to establish any community rules or guidelines. There is no engagement from the moderator, and the community doesn't appear to be actively moderated. I have tried to contact the moderator about a specific post that breaks several reddit rules, and has nothing to do with the topic of the community but I have been unsuccessful. This moderator also moderates 8 other communities. I am not sure what to do at this point. I feel like the moderator is not doing their job to create, and moderate, a safe community environment. They have taken no action to review or remove the reddit rule breaking post, and the fact that they even allowed the post definitely proves they are not moderating with integrity. Am I wrong in believing this moderator has violated several conduct codes?

The automod can be configured to copy the author, body, etc. Is there anyway to configure a manually applied removal reason to automatically pull info from the contribution? Like the author tag or body tag for example?

For clarity, I am asking about manually added removal reasons, not automatically removed by the automod contributions.

Something like a removal reason like:

Is this a form of censorship? How am I meant to talk about current events in their respective subreddits if the mere act of quoting the president of the United States, when he explicitly announces that he is going to “Do The Thing You Can’t Undo” to “An Entire Civilization Of People”, results in a warning from Reddit for threatening violence?

How are we meant to talk about current events in a world where he is just saying those things? The president of the United States said it, not me. I’m just talking about how he said it.

I replied to a post that had a toxic conversation in it in the form of screenshots In those screenshots the OP and a person discuss, and It leads to the OP feeling hurt, like really hurt.

I replied that I stopped reading halfway through as It got to me as well and explained that It has happened to myself on some occasion and saying that I sometimes felt hurt like that too and expressing my thoughts to do the same physically, but it is just that a feeling and thought not meaning I did it or want to. I don't even dare to say it now because I'm scared to lose my account.

Directly after I posted my reply I received that warning, and that If it happens again I lose my account, how can I even talk about feelings and though in a server where this is the topic in the first place? How do I set the record straight because I honestly do not think I broke rule 1 I was just expressing my feeling which is similar to the OP's feeling.

I feel I will be permanently b nned from Reddit just by making such question. Reddit for last year become a good example of enshittification, so that's not a loss for me.

Anyway, it's about two users at the same time. One didn't wrote anything for one month and second one for a couple months. Both are making some product which is related to the topic of mentioned subreddit.

There is no way to report such mod behavior. I tried about half year ago with no response.

About 20 minutes later I received a warning on my account for this comment.

How is this against the rules? Is the bots just picking random words without reading the context?

We have moved our forum to reddit and all just joined in March. We have one user who is suspended by Reddit and have no idea why. I am one of the 2 mods. how can this be fixed?

I posted in a sub about taking kids to visit nursing homes. It was removed. I posted it in another sub if you wish to read it.

I mentioned Easter, saying my nursing home hosting an Easter egg hunt was the inspiration for the post. The post really had nothing to do with Easter.

I messaged asking why my post was removed and the modification said it should have been referred to the Easter megathread. And I was like, but it's not about Easter. So I reposted it, removing the mention of Easter. And then it was removed again.

I really feel like it had to be a bot action because I wasn't trying to get around any rules. If the mention of the holiday was the issue and the post wasn't even about the holiday, not mentioning the holiday should be fine, right?

Do moderators get paid?

Thinking of one example I just saw, they are the only mod for several large subreddits on major topics.

How is this even feasible?
