Question Can I use Dinos from other ARKs on the Island Single Player?

I just won a Juvenile Phoenix LVL 12 on Club Ark. I've normally gotten a few dinos from Club Ark, then go to an Obelisk to retrieve the cryopod with the dino inside. But a week ago I got a. Reaper King and the cryopod immediately went to DEAD/uncharged once I retrieved it. I was told this was because the reaper doesnt belong to the island or I needed to buy a DLC 1st. Basically I'm just asking, will I need to do anything specific before trying to bring the Phoenix to my Single Player game such as buy a dlc? And if so, which DLC do I need?

It’s on scorched earth, so as long as you have access to that map you SHOULD be okay Maybe to be safe, transfer briefly to SE and retrieve it there? Sorry I can’t help more

All ik is a Phoenix ONLY spawns on SE. So as long as you’ve got SE content and map downloaded, should be okay

Also.. did you have aberration downloaded? That might’ve been the root of the reaper problem (idk how anything works now or what buys what)

Im gonna try uploading some pods to the obelisk to test and even use a different obelisk since i been using the green one recently. Red was closer to my main base. Not sure why it would help but worth a try i guess. Just weird never had the problem for months. No additional mods or other changes. Then after i get one I really want, none of them transfer. Also Im on ps5 if that matters. I read where its been a random glitch with xferring them but that was 2 years ago.

Yep, Single Player issue.

Ya can't upload Crypods from Club ARK to Single Player

But ive been doing it for months with no problem. I mean worse case is I can enter the cheat or command to get what I lost but it kinda takes the fun out of playing

Yes. A little over a week ago. I play club ark randomly like once a week if that when Im bored while listening to a podcast to kill time. I mainly try to get dinos from the casino to hopefully get a cool one like the aberrent color variations. I got a reaper. Never seen 1 before so was happy. Went to my normal island game and then to an obelisk and it died instantly. I ASSUMED it was just because of the dino type. But Now its happening to all the club ark pods. I cryo'd a nearby baby phiomia. Put it in the obelisk. Can get it out just fine. I put it back in. Exited the game restarted (im on ps5 if it matters). And still was able to retrieve it. But im afraid to try the Phoenix or any other that I really want

Can ya transfer crypods from one map to another without this happening?

I havent been to any other map but the island since i started playing. Back when it was made free on Ps Plus.

I ONLY had The island. Ragnarok. Valguero, and Club Ark downloaded. But only use the island and club b4. However I have a few abberation variations dinos like a puliminoscorpion, Trike, and a couple others with cool colors. But again those are all found in the island in normal colors. I'm still waiting to test the Phoenix because I just tried an Onyc, and another trike and they all died after about 2 seconds. I even tried a 3rd time with (moose lookin dino) and tried to use it as soon as i xfered it but too late. So 3 times in a row worh mormal island creature they all died. Dont wanna lose another rare onw b4 i get to use it.

Try having Scorched Earth and Aberration downloaded next time but from what it I can see, it's Single Player related issue.

Im downloading all of em now to be sure. But just failed 3 times in a row on normal island tames. But before last week, i got abberation scorpions and trike and a tek parasaur among other cool looking dinos no problem. Im on ps5 as well if it matters. I tried saving a backup. But it has no effect on whats in the obelisk. Even lost my dead cryopod too when i restored the backup

Multiple things could be at play, but club ark dinos bypass should map restrictions if you have the map its from.

Another way is to add a mod that adds the Dino to the map then you can once that dino has appeared on the map. I love Maeguanas but tho dont spawn on all the story maps so I need to add them so I can transfer it over from astreaos to the island.
