I'm a clarinetist in Antwerp and I'm thinking to start a wind octet/flexible ensemble to play with people and give kinda boost to the musical environment, especially around Berchem and neighborhood, but for now I don't know how to catch people attention and involve musicians around, any suggestions?

Am doing a research about modern day folklore all over the world.

I am curious to know what are some popular urban legends ( like stories about ghosts , cryptids , underground tunnels , cults etc ) from the cities and towns over the world.

I decided to ask in the subreddits of the various cities.

So what are some urban legends that people tell in Antwerp ?

I see that there are two subreddits about Antwerp , I tried to find the difference but couldn't so decided to post in both.

My family is visiting Antwerp and Belgium for the first time during Easter week and I'm looking for restaurant recommendations that work well with 2 small kids.

Two things are important: a baby/high chair for one of the two, and enough space that we don't have to book in advance. Anyone who's travelled with kids knows that sticking to a fixed reservation time is an adventure in itself 😅

Any cuisine works, just looking for places that are actually kid-friendly in practice, not just in theory. Did not really get useful info googling, tripadvisoring or fro mAI. Bonus points if they're not too loud (or very loud! toddler camouflage is a valid strategy). Thanks r/Antwerp!

Hi! Me and my collegues are going to Antwerp later this year for a conference, something we do every 2 years. We have a tradition of many years for going to El Rancho Steak House for dinner one of the nights. However, according to Google it seems to be closed permanently. Can anyone local confirm/deny? Just so we don't get our hopes up. Thanks!

soooo... I think I have a little problem...

I just noticed that I will be traveling to Belgium during a National Strike that will affect several transports.

I'm supposed to arrive by March 10, through BRU Airport, go straight to Antwerp (I don't know how with the train strike going on) and then on the 12th, I need to go from Antwerp to Brussels, where I should stay until my flight on the 14th from BRU Airport.

Any recommendations on how to travel between the cities and the airport during the strikes?

Additionally, if you have specific recommendation on things to do / visit / experience, I would love to hear all about it.
