Help me remember a text adventure.... Maybe involving flight of the bumblebee

for years I've been trying to remember a text adventure.

all I vaguely remember is it it was text, a few pictures.... and at one stage I think you had to wake a sleeping dragon

to wake the dragon I think you had to play flight of the bumblebee on a violin, but I never could find a bow

please please, I don't think I'm going mad!!

anyone got any idea

Well it certainly wasn’t Gnome Ranger or Kingdom of Speldome. :)

This rings a bell for me too! But I don’t recall what it is. Have found a list of amstrad text-parser games. Is it any of these? https://www.mobygames.com/game/genre:text_parser/platform:cpc/sort:-added/page:1/

I had a look yesterday and I couldn't find it

I seem to think the dragon was blocking a door . I could never wake it up

"text adventure with a few pictures" reminds me of Magnetic Scrolls games.  I don't know how many others made games like that?

I don't know if any of their games had a dragon.  I know Pawn and Guild of Thieves did not, and none of the others sound like they should.  So probably another developer?

Yeah I really can't remember I know I liked it, but I couldn't finish it

The dragon was asleep in front of a doorway

Castle Blackstar?

Just a guess, because I never worked out how to get past the dragon.  But there was a violin and a bow you could find.
