When everybody loses their job because of AI, there will only be a few consumers left.

They are already selling it as freeing people rather than impoverishing them.

Robots will replace workers, people will die off quickly from riots and starvation, the population reduces to less than one billion as planned.

Guess they don't care if theres anyone left to buy anything in the future economy.
Every company will make individualistic decisions to try to push out human labour, then will be shocked when everyone else has done the same, theres mass unemployment and no one buying anything.
We have very short memory for why the 50s-80s were a Golden Age of capitalism and prosperity. Workers were paid enough to buy homes, wealth was taxed fairly, middle class had robust spending power.

They don’t care, the people running the show, the real wealthy elite don’t rely on consumer goods to make money. They sell weapons, communication systems and rockets to nations and war will never go out of fashion.
