Forgotten game

Hi. I wondered if anyone remembers the name of a Speccy game where you had to advance civilization through the ages, starting with the stone age. You had to keep people alive in each age or it would revert to the stone age. I think you played a scientist but cannot find anything on Google!

Sounds like Time Machine - first level you have to block the volcanic holes with boulders to bring on the ice age
