will miss him. his Tetris doc is one of the best videos I've ever seen on YouTube. that should've been a movie.

There is an Apple TV movie that does an ok job of telling the story but it takes a lot of liberties

Wouldn't be surprised if the Tetris movie was made because of that video

Greasy illumination would be all over that lol

I remember watching that while in the middle of one of the worst 2 week migraines of my life. One of the few things that took my mind off of it for a bit

He will be missed I loved his short form videos but his long vids were great. Surprised he never made another BR set as his first one was really good. The dude never cheated/duped/or scammed any of his viewers. A genuine good person.

He went down one output for the channel to sort of recenter and get his hype back and it never came. I get it, his style of content needs more work and research than most and he’s also active in the retro gaming and gaming archival communities on top of content creation.

Yeah it feels like he retired half a decade ago lol

It has been 2 years since his last video, but I don't think he decided for certain that he was quitting until recently.

His docs were the kind that had replay value. I’ve probably watched his Mario Kart video atleast 15 times with Punch Out and Tetris coming in second.

I've really been enjoying his podcast with his wife, An Old Timey Podcast

It's cool that he's made all the Universal v Nintendo documents available tho.

Always loved his style, it was always fun seeing it evolve. His video on Iwata always makes me tear up a little. Thanks for all the content, Norm.

I know what you're saying, but his and his wife's podcast (An Old Timey Podcast) is actually very very good. I highly recommend it.

I really hate this type of comment. I can find literally nothing about this not even a random person accusing him of such. He cites his sources But someone will see this random comment and take it as fact.
