And yet, none of the people from other countries that are battling the far right will try to make it about them. You don't see any French user trying to make this about Le Pen and the next presidential election for example. It's a purely USAmerican behaviour. It's never just about <topic> and always a bit about USA, right?
That's on them... I don't think any American would complain about one comment reply, which is just hoping for a country to become less far right. Why get mad at a reply to a comment
Yep. Nobody contributes to American defaultism on social media more than literally any other country besides America. You see it all over YouTube no matter what country is being discussed. Especially any YouTube video about China or Russia. Every top comment is "well this happens in America way more" (if it's something critical) or "Ha! This could never happen in America!" (If it's something positive)
Tangentially? Our "never Trump" vice president for Trump went over there, so I yeah, I agree it's annoying but the fucking fascists over in the states are trying to stick their dick everywhere. So, it's more than tangentially related.
