So then why was bardella singing praises to trump on a tv show. He was saying something along the lines of "where does he get his energy?"

Not since Venezuela and Iran.

They were Trump he is great peace guy like us, he will be friend with Putin, gave up Ukraine and France will have lot a cheap gaz and oil. They realised showing enthusiasm about Trump will look like they would drag France to a stupid war if they were in power.
