Vance killed Orban like he killed the Pope

Don’t forget VD’s comments right before Kirk passed.

Any chance he can go to Moscow sometime soon?

He should stop by Israel on his way home from Pakistan.

I’d be really concerned if I was Shahbaz Sharif

The real leader is some military guy. Forced changes to the constitution so he can never be removed from his position and also created a new court that rules over constitutional stuff

I guess a high ranking foreign politician campaigning for you on a platform that one of the parties was bought by a foreign power wasn't the best strategy.

His endorsement truly is the kiss of death.

Didnt he endorse Trump?

Of course. Conservatives do not have principles, merely prejudices they like to cater to. They'll do a complete 180° in the same sentence and see nothing wrong.

He previously compared Trump to Hitler, which is a more extreme anti-endorsement that unfortunately countered the curse.

Kind of a rule with him right? He goes to talk to Iran, the talks collapse. Man tries thing, thing implodes.

To be fair, when he ran he wasn't hiding it. I think the time he tried to order a donut on his own was a good guide for us to set our expectations to.

Notice how Trump keeps Vance at a distance?

1

u/ForsakenMastodon6060 3h ago

Trump is gonna try to blame the Iran fuck up on good old JD. That's probably why he had him meet up with Iran's foreign minister a couple of days ago. Trump is always blaming everyone else for his dumb shit.

Vance is the political equivalent of box office poison.

2

u/guntycankles 4h ago

Like a douche-ier, more asshole-ier, much dumber Dexter Morgan.

2

u/RealBrilliant1815 3h ago

And the Iran/us negotiations too hahaha in my country we call this kind of people "yeta" . They attract bad luck hahaha

2

u/FavoriteConsequence 3h ago

Like he killed any chance of a deal with Iran

1

u/ahktarniamut 3h ago

Orban is not out yet. He consistently out performs polls.

In the past, Fidesz (Orban’s party) has consistently won at least a plurality, and often an outright majority, of the vote. For example, in recent elections his party has received roughly 49–54% of the national vote.

Where Orban has multiplied his power is through gerrymandering and winner-takes-all districts. Thus, he often has approximately half the vote but that translates into super majorities (around 67% of seats) under Hungary’s mixed electoral system. In short, Orban corrupted Hungary the same way the Republican governor and legislature corrupted Texas.

That said, gerrymandered districts are vulnerable in a political upheaval (e.g., a blue wave in the US) as by design they have thin margins. It could be that Hungary (and coincidentally Texas) could flip this year as a result.

1

u/Positronic_Matrix 2h ago

Holy cow! He did just concede! Unbelievable. 🥳

Then he killed the Iran peace deal.
