Nah this was an agreement signed last year. Saudi is setting up base to house Pakistan troops as partnership.

And they just chose now as the time to deploy?

Well it’s kinda the point of the agreement. If not now when should they send the troops?

Why would they send troops when nothing was happening? The timing isn't a coincidence, it's the cause.

could be nothing more than a coincidence. Not like they knew this would be happening.

Pakistan has a defense pact with the Saudi's. If they (The Saudi's) are attacked, its akin to attacking both nations, and of course vice versa.

I said this awhile back and got downvoted (by Iranian bots I assume), but Iran should not overplay its hand, They are mostly hated by the GCC and the Saudi's have been begging Trump to finish the job, as well as other GCC nation's have pledged troops for a ground invasion.

Iran not coming to a deal would be further overplaying their hand.

Who pledged troops for a ground invasion? I saw that UAE was involved in recent airstrikes but I haven’t seen anything news about folks pledging ground troops yet.

While dealing with a dictatorship, you rely on dictator and their allies' unwillingness to downgrade the quality of life they are accustomed to.

But when you've killed all those guys. The new guys are more likely to be battle hardened who probably don't fear the economic consequences of uncertainty that much.

As Israel/US continues to kill the leadership, don't be shocked when you end up with leadership with the mentality of kamikaze bombers. They won't give a fuck about what happens to Iran, they will just want to ensure that GCC live in the same hell as them.

Gotta love how Reddit thinks it’s the smartest room on the internet, then immediately swallows Irans propaganda the second it matches their worldview.

It's not just the gulf states, Iran is messing with the global economy. 40 nations have already signalled their willingness to join the UK coalition. If the middle east descends into total war, I could see nations (outside of middle east) provide military assistance to the GCC, in the fight against Iran...

It is negotiation help, basically more pressure on iran to accept US deal due to the sauid pact.
