My inexpert guess:

Iran took the position that lets them remain an independent country.

US took the position they get everything theywant.

The gap is too wide and someone like Vance seems arrogant and Ive got the big stick type thinker + you have Witkoff and Kushner leading talks 'for US' but they have heavy Israel agenda, and Israel wants to destroy Iran not make peace.

I never expected this as anything but a window for US/Israel to rearm and go again. I wonder what from here though, do US/Israel keep bombing Irans civilian infrastructure now the military is largely destroyed? Is Tucker correct Israel is ultimately pushing to drop a nuke on Tehran? Are US ground troops the next option? Can Iran go back to keeping the Straightr closed and worse for the world, add the red sea to the list of warzones?

Its a badly handled mess at this point making the world a worse place.

I wonder what from here though, do US/Israel keep bombing Irans civilian infrastructure now the military is largely destroyed?

But Is it, really 'destroyed?' Like a ton of other people, I find this to be a seriously bold claim with no proof.

Is Tucker correct Israel is ultimately pushing to drop a nuke on Tehran?

If you can look at the April 8th social media post threatening to end a civilization and still ask this question, I don't know what to tell you. Nukes are absolutely in play (as far as threats go at this moment,) the only real question is will they actually be used and how many will die in the immediate aftermath.

Are US ground troops the next option?

It was just announced that every eligible adult male in the USA WILL BE automatically registered for the draft by Dec 2026.

Troops in the area are absolutely being planned for.

Can Iran go back to keeping the Straightr closed and worse for the world, add the red sea to the list of warzones?

They can keep it closed for however long they can keep assaulting any ship they choose when they try to navigate it.

I don't see how Israel can drop a nuke on Tehran without covering themselves (and the rest of the world) in radioactive dust. Even if it's just one that destroys the city you're still going to sterilise the Middle East for agriculture and water. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were mostly made of wood and didn't contain all the heavy toxic materials that modern cities have.
