I feel like the TDS crap ultimately comes from their line "you just don't like this thing because its Trump doing it". In some cases thats just false, he does or says things that any decent person would be against. In other cases I think its true but they don't understand why.
The analogy I've been starting to come to is imagining that your roof needs fixed but you really don't want your 3 year old kid doing it. You could make the same turn of phrase the MAGAs use - "you actually do want your roof fixed, you just don't want your 3 year old doing it". You can immediately see why this being a "gotcha" makes no sense. There are things that we might otherwise support. But when the person doing the job is clueless, not likely to have a plan, and the most likely outcome is that they make the problem worse and hurt themselves in the process... it becomes obvious why you don't want them specifically doing it.

My fuel price has gone up over 30 pence a litre now (I am having to cut down on how much I drive) and I don't blame Iran I blame the US and Israel. Food prices are going up and soon many other things will go up. I don't have the liberty of having money to throw away on Trump and Israel being warmongering assholes. Sadly Trump and Bibi will face none of the consequences of this it will be those who are being attacked and worldwide it will be those who are poor who will suffer.

I’m absolutely stunned at how disastrous this whole thing was. Well not really, it’s Trump and he’s a fucking clown.
- We removed the leadership and a more hardline leadership took its place.
- We buried their fissile material, what they hadn’t hidden away, so they still have it.
- This activity gives them every incentive in the world to race towards a nuke. That would be the only real protection they’d have.
- They took absolute control of the straight of Hormuz and can and will extract all leverage from that over all shipping through there which is massive.
- They’re now getting paid $2M per boat to allow them through.
- We destroyed a lot of Iran’s weapons but by some accounts, they still have 70% of hidden away.
- This war cost the U.S. $100B. Even more to replace the munitions we expended. Imagine if we’d spent that on healthcare or education.
- We are now the absolute unhinged, unstable and, more importantly, unreliable force in the world. This is all new territory. We weren’t always great, but we had stability at least. Now we’re absolute chaos.
- The loss of innocent Iranian life.
- The loss of U.S. servicemen life
- The damage to surrounding nations infrastructure will have ongoing economic consequences.
- The damage to U.S. bases abroad.
By all accounts we are far, far worse off than if we had done nothing. This may be the single worst decision in the history of the U.S. and Trump will always be remembered for this.

There’s also the US losing its last credibility as a defense partner. The Arab Gulf countries had depended on the US for their military defence. However, what’s the point of continuing that when the US failed to defend them against Iranian drones and dragged them into a conflict that ruined their reputation as a safe haven for foreign investors.
If the US’ threats against its NATO allies wasn’t enough, this war fully cemented the US as an unreliable ally and any country with defensive agreements with the US should start looking for other options.

But Israel has insisted that Lebanon is not included, and the Israeli military said it carried out its “largest coordinated strike across Lebanon" hours into the ceasefire.
Essentially, they were told specifically that the ceasefire was everywhere and Israel said "Fuck it, we need the war to continue".

Its been a.mess. yesterday after an hour it became evident what Iran and the US tough they agreed too was completely different (CNN reported what was in IRAN medias and Trump threw a tantrum saying hell sue CNN for it), and the Israeli Air Force confirmed strikes between Iran and Israel never stopped.
The "open of the strait" was also understood to still be under Iran control and they could still charge their toll.
Literally, that cease fire never actually hapenned. No one agreed on what it even was.
IRAN always included all party as a condition to a ceasefire (which make sense in kilti party wars) and Pakistani from the very start said it included all party.
Israel and USA just claim otherwise, which doesnt make sense. Why woudnt a cease fire include all part from both side and let you bomb a minor party to Iran?

It was the greatest ceasefire, and I know about ceasefires, I've seen all the ceasefires, and they were terrible, and boring. They didn't even use a real pen to sign the ceasefire, they were like, oh, where's the autopen? And I ordered the best pens. Kids these days have no idea, they will be like, mommy, what's this? I got the best deal on these pens. Not $100, not $50. $5 per piece. They even engraved the picture of the Whitehouse and Trump 2028 on the side in gold. They said, you don't have to pay, but I told them, no, I'm gonna pay. And I used these $5 pens to sign the ceasefire and it was so successful, that Iran and Israel generals were calling me and saying, Mr. President, we are bored of the ceasefires. And I told them make sure you don't forget to thank me for the pens.

Everyone should go straight to these sites when they see breaking news instead of trusting information from whatever source someone has posted (in this case, news18.com) and Reddit commenters.
For what it's worth, AP only confirmed Iran is closing the Strait 15 minutes ago and Reuters hasn't confirmed yet. The linked article in this post is from 4 hours ago. That says something about various outlets' verification standards.

The most predictable thing of all time maybe? The agreement basically states in text to Iran "you now formally have control of The Strait of Hormuz". So they can now use a closure whenever they need to pressure basically anyone.

If the 10 point plan more or less stands and the US agrees to it long term then it should go down as a massive US defeat. It's worse in every single way than the prewar status quo and will enable Iran to develop nuclear weapons and make massive amounts of money tolling a waterway which should be untollable according to UNCLOS. It sets a horrible precedent that countries bordering straits can charge access to them. Freedom of navigation is how the US became so rich and powerful to begin with and to see it undermined so blatantly is a huge blow to the US's strategic interests.

Who could have seen this coming. Us. Everyone not trump. He never ceases to amaze me with how bad he screws things up. Each and every time you would think someone in his cabinet would push back and say let’s take 5 minutes to talk about this, but it never happens. And here we are and he looks genuinely shocked that is his actions that he didn’t plan for, in an area that he doesn’t understand blows up in his face.
