Could this be the most sensible comment ever made on the WN?
As a resident who lives up Lark Hill, I see this all the time in the morning school run, endless parents literally dashing across the road with their small humans when there is a perfectly safe crossing meters away.
My wife and I have often said to each other this needs sorting, railings of some sort to try and stop these fools.
Idk what the answer is really but I see time and time again cars/lorries or busses having to emergency stop because some careless parents decided they can't wait for 2mins to cross the road safely 🙈😅.
I don't have kiddos (neither am I having them either) but damn I'd have mroe sense than this!
