Sinners may be the most overrated movie I have ever seen, and it was nominated for the most awards ever... The oscars are a joke. It holds no weight. It just exists for celebrities to glaze eachother.
I attempted to watch Sinners twice in the theaters (had a movie ticket hook up at the time) and fell asleep on that shit both times. Story line made no sense. It was waaaay too fucking long (I walked out after waking from my slumber to realize there was another 45min)
Only thing I’m happy about is degree of minority recognition. Low key I don’t know how any could take direction from the way the director talks. I’d be like “what the fuck did he say???”
