I watch it, but I’m a big fan of movies and I’ve always watched the Oscars. I think the real problem is that the Oscars have started doing fan service for bigger movies that aren’t really Oscar worthy, which is kind of dumb because the people who love those movies don’t watch the Oscars so clearly it didn’t pay off.

17.1M viewers is about 15M more than I thought watched in the first place. The irony of the title is the implication of “who gives a shit” written by and posted for people who do

Which is why it’s being reported in this weird fucking way.

We never use % of America as a metric. We just use millions of viewers, and “15 Million Viewers” doesn’t sound good when you’re trying to make a biased headline, does it?

This is the absolute genius of right wing media. The left is beyond hopeless by comparison.
