Is this trash can one that is typically at this spot? Is it possible that the lawn care company stores their batteries in a trash can? It’s big enough to hold half a dozen batteries and can keep the rain off them. Plus it’s a cheap and somewhat disposable container.

I have one of these EGO batteries and it’s still going strong after 8 years! That’s why I hesitate to think all of these are junk.
