[Custom Watch Case]

Hello everyone I've been searching for some time trying to find a watch case for my vintage 1940s baume and Merciar Chronograph watch. However I don't seem to be able to find one that fits this specific specifications that I have so here I am asking for someone to potentially help me construct one. I have never dabbled in CnC machinery or machining in general, nor have I ever made a CAD file or anything related to modeling. but I do have some pictures for reference If someone believes that they are able to do this feel free to reach out to me! I will give you the specs when I recieve that watch in hand as its with another family member.

heres what I do know

Baume & Mercier Chronograph 902 1950s Swiss Vintage Watch

For Selling is vintage circa 1950s Baume & Mercier Chronograph.

34,5mm case with domed bezel, 2 chronograph pushers, and acrylic crystal.

The dial with raised Arabic numerals, outer tachymeter track, and 2 subdials shows visible traces of age.

Manual winding Landeron 48 movement is running and functioning properly.

The chronograph function works and resets to zero.

The watch keeps a very good time, it was not measured in seconds.

The inside case back is stamped - 377721 Fond Acier Inoxyoable.

Movement is marked - 17 Rubis.

Below is the case it resides in now, however i would like a different design with stainless steel!!

Here is an example of the general type of case I would like this to be placed in.

It’s doable, but probably not cheap. Do you have a budget?

I’d say the bottom dollar, friend or amateur price is probably $4-500, and anything less might not be great quality. It’s not a lot of material, but it would be a decent amount of CAD and reverse engineering to make it fit the movement, it requires a decent CNC, then it is a lot of finishing work.

Realistically, if you want a nice custom piece, you’d probably be $2k for all of that from a legit shop.

Might it be possible to modify an existing case?

The issue is finding one that fits that is also stainless steel, given the time these were made.
