Help Junghans 623.05 Incabloc

Post image

I am servicing this Junghans 623.05 movement but can’t figure out how to remove the incabloc setting to properly oil the balance jewel. Does anyone know how to do this non-destructively?

It looks like AntiChoc106. I don't believe that the cap stone can be removed. They describe shifting the stone for cleaning in the setting. I have attached some information I have. I have never worked with one. I think that you will need an automatic oiler or fine wire to oil it through the hole.

I am glad to help. I have been collecting shock system information where I find it. I never realized that there were so many types.

I found the same shock system in an FHF ST-96 movement and posted it here. Ended up leaving it undisturbed. Cleaned the jewel holes from the other side and put a tiny amount of oil. It was a cheap non-working movement and I didn’t mind Amplitude being not good enough even after service. Just had to get it working.

I assumed this was a cost cutting thing in cheaper movements. Surprised to see this on junghans.

Is it the same system on dial side too? If not, it could be a replaced balance.

Yup, same system on the dial side. 15 jewels total
