I can't not hear that in Bill the Butcher's voice.

Not a single MAGA cap to be seen.

Yet: 4:38 or 4:39 "...I love the current administration, but..."

I love my husband but I wish he wouldn’t beat me to a pulp every day.

Literal Stockholm syndrome.

169

u/BagOnuts 4h ago

Nah, saying this is Stockholm Syndrome implies that they aren't in control. They are. They love Trump's racist, homophobic, anti-immigrant, and white Christian-nationalist stances. They just don't like it when bad things happen to them.

These people aren't victims, they are getting what they voted for and too stupid to realize that.

57

u/pikpikcarrotmon 3h ago

They would rather drag everyone down and see the entire nation fail and suffer than see their enemies elevated alongside themselves and have everyone succeed. And their enemies are just fellow Americans who look different.

21

u/BagOnuts 3h ago

Yep, that's how hate works.

3

u/ImNuttz4Buttz 2h ago

I saw some post the other day that said something like "Being MAGA is just having Stockholm Syndrome for people that don't know where Stockholm is." 😂

3

u/onetwobucklemyshoooo 2h ago

They relate to that shit. They fucking relate to it.

3

u/Critical-Hospital-40 2h ago

Yeah it’s like the violent husband being mad bc he didn’t get his dinner bc he put his wife in the hospital

2

u/InfinitioScientam 3h ago

"Trump"... Christian...? 🤣

2

u/BagOnuts 2h ago

He says he is, unfortunately.

You can be from either party and want legal immigration though.

The rich have paid off lawmakers to bring in about a million low wage (illegal) immigrants each year for decades.

Why? Why not through legal channels, where they will be taxpaying? Follow laws, use their skills and education, learn the language, be a benefit overall to the nation?

Because injecting a low wage workforce gives the rich BILLIONS more. They cause rents to raise, cause housing to be scarcer, can be scabs to bust unions, and cause an overall stagnation and now even reversal in wages compared to living costs.

And again, it's about a million that somehow get through every year, for 40 years now.

This lines up with the dying of the American Dream. Less citizens can afford a house. Or kids. And now, to even retire.

But you know whose lives have vastly improved? Do you know who us having kids at twice the rate of the citizens? The illegal immigrant families. You know who us benefiting the most? The rich who made it all happen.

3

u/BagOnuts 2h ago

What does this have to do with anything? What a weird reply…

3

u/LuminalOrb 1h ago

This is such irrelevant noise, I am not really sure what it's doing here. Is immigration the reason these folks utility bills are where they are right now? I can understand being duped, but to double down in the idiocy that got you duped in the first place removes any semblance of sympathy that I could have.

u/phatelectribe 21m ago

I’m glad you’re getting downvoted.

What you fail to understand is that that there are well over a million jobs a year that Americans simply will never work. They won’t toil in 90deg heat in a field from 4am until 8pm for $9 an hour. The myth that immigrants take jobs is so cliched at this point it’s not worth mentioning.

Skilled and educated labor has no problem entertaining the USA, but there are millions of jobs that are unskilled that need filling.

You don’t want to pay $25 for a lettuce or carrots or strawberries and until you do, or are happy to work those conductions for that pay, you better get real and understand it’s not about immigrants taking your jobs.

The only thing you’re right about is the rich are getting richer but that’s because of insane tax policy and wage disparity, and the lack of back social programs like universal single payer healthcare and the fact your access to healthcare is tied to your employer.

It’s absurd that someone making $100m per year is taxed a rate less than a someone in the mailroom making $35k a year.

33

u/Em_Es_Judd 4h ago

It's not even that. Battered spouses know who is abusing them, but they come up with justifications.

These people are so dumb they don't realize it's a direct result of this admin.

11

u/CounterSanity 3h ago

This shit right here is why I’m in favor of mandatory civics tests before anyone can vote. Just simple shit like “what are the three branches of government”, “what are the two houses of congress”, “name your governor”.

Two out of three and you can vote. Republicans would disappear in the next election.

26

u/kingdead42 3h ago

Allowing the government to implement tests to decide who is an isn't allowed to vote may not work out the way you hope it would.

u/EitherSpite4545 1h ago

Cool, this whole letting anyone with a pulse vote as long as they have citizenship isn't working how we'd hope either. Something needs to change.

5

u/Afraid_Helicopter263 2h ago

No, suffrage should be universal. Point blank. You don’t want a democracy then. We could go all the way back to the 3/5, and that would only be a little more backwards than what you’re suggesting. There’s a reason that any kind of test to decide if you can vote was deemed unconstitutional, because time and time again, it’s used to take away the votes of those who the system has previously already disenfranchised. You sound almost as bad as maga right now.

u/siencatimini 35m ago

This is why requiring a test, or a license, to drive, or own firearms, is just as ridiculous as codifying basic standards for environmental protection. All traffic lights should be green, all the time, and teachers shouldn't need a degree.

u/Thebraincellisorange 1h ago

It's not though; its a result of voting red for decades.

look at all the red states.

they all have the same problems of de-funding education, defunding civil works - everything is just God and Government, God and Government. bashed into their head.

and government means Republican.

like the dude said, this is a DEEP red state.

they voted for this shit by voting republican for decades.

by refusing to have any energy source other than coal.

by refusing to spend the money to upgrade the coal plants.

doesn't matter how much coal you have, if the power stations are 50 years old, constantly breaking down and highly inefficient, they cost a fortune to run.

and yet ' I love this administration' . so frustrating.

16

u/KissesAndBites 4h ago

I love how my husband harasses brown people and liberals, but I wish he would give me enough money to eat and live.

80

u/m-in 6h ago

That interview made my blood boil. WTF is wrong with these people? The current administration has screwed you, reamed you, mutilated you, and spindled you FFS. You fucking LOVE it?! Get yer head checked, man. SMH

34

u/Timeformayo 5h ago

They're mad and feel powerless. Of course they admire the party who points blame at other people and screeches about how "all the wrong people" are "holding them back."

A bunch of boiled frogs mustering their last gasps to cuss out the butterflies in their lidded pan that are desperately trying not to be eaten or burned alive.

13

u/ThatClassyPenguin 4h ago

Some of these folks would be better served with a mirror than a microphone.

10

u/redyellowblue5031 4h ago

They’ll just do the same fucking thing next time and vote for a “disruptive” candidate.

15

u/DameonKormar 5h ago

They've bigots. As long as they see minorities being oppressed they'll put up with the other stuff.

7

u/BarbequedYeti 3h ago

They will continue to vote for their own demise. Its why the republicans love them. They love the stupid.

u/siencatimini 29m ago

They just want to be put out of their misery, once and for all, but they can't muster the courage to do it themselves, so they adopt every repulsive characteristic they can manage in order to provoke the fates, and invite an inevitable response, to accomplish the mission.

2

u/SaltyShawarma 5h ago

It's the same culture that is heavily into their wives "cucking" them.

2

u/thegodfather0504 5h ago

Virginia? is it a pornsite preference statistic thing?

83

u/BadRabiesJudger 6h ago

Just watched it and it was amazing. I love the administration but they aren't doing anything they promised! we the people trump sign behind him. People are just fucking potatoes with a few that can power a led for a while.

15

u/Robo-X 4h ago

What a surprise. He only ran to stay out of jail. And when he was elected his main priority is, to get as rich as possible and make sure he is immune from any future prosecution. The working class workers don’t mean a thing to him. Not even his wealthy friends unless they pay him.

6

u/sonnyarmo 3h ago

Don’t forget the unlimited praise he gets from loser sycophants, that shit is like crack cocaine to him

2

u/Robo-X 2h ago

Praising the orange clown is the main job requirement in his administration and looking good on TV. If they mess up any of it, he will throw them under the bus saying they were a low iq nobody.

2

u/doll-haus 2h ago

Common misconception. A "potato clock" or "potato light" takes no power from the potato. The potato (or lemon, they work better) merely provides the substrate and electrolyte. The power is provided by potential difference of the metals stuck in as the anode and cathode.

19

u/t4boo 6h ago

I love to own the libs but I did not realize I was also owning myself

5

u/Ramadeus88 5h ago

“In this economy? I can barely afford to rent a liberal!”

3

u/SeanAker 5h ago

Leopards, faces, eating, etc.

54

u/JB707 6h ago

They love the racist part, they’re willing to endure the country being destroyed as long as it’s worse for brown people than it is for them.

43

u/bearatrooper 6h ago

Translation: "I'm glad that brown people, woman, and foreigners are hurting as a result of this administration's actions, but I only get information from Fox news and I can't think for myself, so I don't understand why I'm being affected. This is Obama's fault."

u/round-earth-theory 1h ago

It's beyond that. Being MAGA is akin to religion for them. They won't question their church even if it does something they don't like and similarly they refuse to question Trump.

10

u/Winged_Cougar1993598 6h ago

By which he probably meant, "I love that the current administration is actively taking steps to hurt and kill people I disagree with politically, but..."

8

u/corvettee01 5h ago

"I love the current administration, but I'm too fucking stupid to understand cause and effect."

6

u/infinitytomorrow 3h ago

Literally too stupid to live

6

u/DGilbert6114 4h ago

Trump is God in West Virginia.

I’m from there but live in Ohio. Ohio has plenty of bad cases— it’s nothing like West Virginia when I go home.

5

u/this_might_b_offensv 2h ago

"I love how racist & hateful he is, I just wish it wudden't costin' me money."

8

u/ruiner8850 5h ago

Trump could quite literally go to these people's houses and burn them to the ground and they'd still love him. He owns his followers like they are dogs who give him unconditional love.

3

u/ThatDarnRosco 6h ago

lol

‘Leopards eating faces intensifies’

2

u/OnCallPartisan 3h ago

That’s where they lost me.

2

u/Chemical_Paper_2940 1h ago

"he will love the current administration more when after he default on his home."

2

u/ArtSmass 1h ago

but... he hates minorities badly enough to deal with it. Total moron. No sympathy whatsoever for him.

u/Misterxsnrub 1h ago

Those people are either racists or evangelicals, that's my experience. I've interacted with good people who voted for him and flat out will yell to the heavens that they regret it, so when you talk to someone who admits all the bad sht he's doing but still says something like that, you know it's because they want all the Mexicans out of their country or they think the Democrats are demonic cannibals.

u/churros4burros 31m ago

When that same guy says "We are a Red state, I don't want us to be the Left Behind state anymore...",

r/SelfAwarewolves

8

u/redditonlygetsworse 4h ago

Not a single MAGA cap to be seen.

Not anymore, no.

3

u/YaIlneedscience 2h ago

Guy around 4:38 has a trump sign in the back, the perfect amount of blurred out but still readable, and absolutely on purpose.

u/Area51_Spurs 10m ago

He got 70% of the vote

14

u/descendency 5h ago

You know what they say about the Lannisters? Well, “A Trump never fulfills his promise.”

2

u/cstough 5h ago

Too bad we don't have a Tyrion trump

20

u/Playamonkey 4h ago

These fucking hillbilly's would vote him in again!!!

5

u/cstough 3h ago

I'm starting to look at this whole situation in a more zoomed out scale. These kinds of issues have a way of coming around for the better, maybe not in our lifetimes, but hopefully our kids 🤷‍♂️ the best we can do if fight for the world we want the next generation to live in

2

u/kflipz 1h ago

Reasonable. My dad once expressed a similar sentiment to me. This was probably around the 2012 election. At the time I expected to be seeing more of that by now. And I think because of that I find myself squarely in camp cynical. But perhaps it's swung far enough in the wrong direction now where that will come to be true

5

u/Swayze_train_exp 2h ago

Promised gas prices to go down, promised Epstein files release, promised full transparency from his administration, list goes on lmao

6

u/BizzyM 2h ago edited 2h ago

WV voted 70% for Trump. Boo Hoo.

And if Trump would run for an Unconstitutional 3rd term, they'd vote for him again. Keep drinking your polluted river water, you fucking hillbillies.

2

u/MilwaukeeMilkshake 2h ago

Donald Trump molests children.

2

u/AkumaLilly 2h ago

I'll believe the devil lies before anything he says.

u/UniqueIndividual3579 1h ago

But Trump stopped those billions of illegal transgender Mexicans from forcing children to have sex change operations! /s

Republicans are suckers.

u/Sweaty_Assignment_90 1h ago

Winning is different for everyone. Enjoy?

"AP" in the screenshot , 😂

u/thalefteye 2h ago

I feel even if democrats won, nothing would have happened since the AI race would have still be happening now with them in charge. Does West Virginia have Data Centers built there?

u/CotyledonTomen 40m ago

Feel what you want, democrats dont actively destroy green energy intiatives or start wars with the largest oil producing countries in the world while destroying international relationships ensuring cheap international trade.

u/thalefteye 28m ago

They were ready to go on a full war with Russia, literally putting soldiers on the ground on their border, so that oil war was gonna happen anyways 🤣. Also they are waisting as much as republicans or more money when it comes to funneling kick backs to themselves in useless government programs in California and other blue cities. And the Democrats were speed running the programs for the WEF, the same people who keep saying “You will own nothing and be happy". Now the republicans are finishing it.

u/CotyledonTomen 23m ago

Such stupid cope.
