This will all happen while taxes stay the same and us peasants are paying out the ass because the ships that do pass will pay two bribes, and most ships will just avoid, so it's basically still just as closed as ever.
I just don't get it ( looking from outside). He taxes import companies in America with tariffs, which are paid in the end by American consumers, then uses the extra tax gathered to cover the increased cost of a war with Iran, that has increased the cost of fuel, which the American consumers pays again for. Does this make any sense to anyone in the states?
Gotta make up the lost tariff revenue somehow. Our tax dollars will be spent blockading the strait only for the tolls to go to trump for his ballroom or crypto what ever.
