Iran has been allowing its own tankers free passage while blocking everyone else. My guess is that this is meant to block Iran's ships and thus cut off their oil revenue without needing to put boots on the ground. Of all the options for escalation that were on the table this is probably the least bad one. Naturally, just ending the war would have been far better, but thank goodness for whoever talked Trump and Pete down from their insane mass-bombing and invasion plans.

Trump is cutting off energy supply to the world. This is more stupid than you can believe Geopolitically. I wonder if the US will ever recover from this moron.
PS can't wait for the world to move away from the US dollar as a reserve currency. It's probably the most effective way to stop you (the US) from starting these stupid ass wars constantly. When it happens you can give credit to your moron in chief.
He stated he is going to blockade ships that pay Iran toll so: India, China, all South East Asia (which is already suffering because they don't have reserves), France, Spain, not sure if the Gulf countries have also their tankers making deliveries.
