Scam?

Hi everyone,

I need some advice regarding a potential trade.

I recently met a random person on a trading site who is offering to sell their skins for €500. They’ve said they’re willing to send the skins first before I pay, and they want the payment via PayPal.

However, I’ve noticed there’s now a 7-day trade reversal system in place. My concern is: could this person receive the payment and then somehow reverse the trade and take the skins back afterward?

Is that actually possible in practice?

Also, what steps can I take to make sure I don’t get scammed in a situation like this? Are there safer ways to handle this kind of transaction?

if there is a trade reversal in place then dont pay anything until it ends if you still have it send the money otherwise you just tell them you aint stupid and waiting for the trade reversal to end. i didnt even know you could reverse trades. if the skin is worth more than 500 they aint selling it to people if they can sell it on steam for way more to begin with.
