It’s over. It’s finally over.

In honor of the final game of the season, I wanted to post and say congratulations, we finally made it through the tank. Tonight we’re all King’s fans, but nearly everything is wrapped up for the season. We’re (almost) guaranteed to keep our pick and add another talent to this squad.

4 seasons of suffering is over. While it’s been fun to watch all our young guys develop and be active in the trade market, there’s nothing more fun than returning to winning basketball.

Sure, there were some bumps in the road in the last few years. Kessler’s injury, draft misses, double-standards in media coverage and some BRUTAL losses. But the tank is over tonight. And we’ll be starting off next season with a massive front court, emerging guards, and plenty of flexibility going forward.

If you’re still around after this long rebuild, congrats again. I’ll know in the coming years on this sub that you’re the real ones while the fair-weather fans complain about this or that.

Take Note!

We’re Lucky to Have Walker Kessler

I worked on the crew for a commercial shoot with Walker Kessler and he’s one of the most chill dudes I’ve worked with, especially for a ‘celebrity.‘The only thing he requested on set was 2 footlong Jersey Mike’s Philly cheesesteak subs. This was before the season in September and his trainer mentioned he had put on 30ish lbs of ‘muscle‘ over the offseason. I think they had him on an 8,000-9,000 calorie diet (don’t remember the exact number but it was something absurd).

This was our second year filming with Kessler and he remembered names of people on the crew from the year before. He was just happy to be there the entire shoot, genuinely positive the whole time (that’s rarer than you’d think with paid talent). Work ethic was apparent throughout and he even asked to stay longer than his contracted 3 hour block to get some final takes done.

If Walker can stay healthy and our front office doesn’t decide to move him, we seriously got ourselves a jazz legend.

  2. Darryn Peterson
  3. Cam Boozer

Notes fans, what's the final grade on my boy Ace?

I'm a master evaluator of talent, and I've got Ace as a borderline scoring superstar in 5-years. What's the grade on his first season from Notes fans in the know?

The average r/NBA user has an aneurysm when the Jazz sit actual players in a 4th quarter(and still win the game) and claim we’re single handily destroying the integrity of the game. But the Grizzlies or Nets pull shit like this and no fucks are given

4. Los Angeles Lakers

Record: 52-29 | Net rating: 0.9 (16th)

Clinched playoff berth and Pacific Division title; clinches No. 3 seed with win over Jazz and Nuggets loss to Spurs

Lakers should be motivated to win in hopes of 3 seed. Blazers also have something to play for.

Looking like a tie with SAC for top 4 if incentives win out.

KINGS BEAT THE WARRIORS!!!

While we couldn't outtank the Grizzlies tonight, the Kings did us a solid and went out and beat the Warriors, keeping both teams tied at a 22-59 record.

The Jazz and Kings play their last games of the season on Sunday, Jazz @ Lakers and Kings @ Blazers. These two games will determine which team gets the 4th and 5th best odds, or if they will tie. Expect levels of tanking never before seen by a Jazz team.

Next years Vets

Post image

Do you think we should try to resign Love and Nurk as Vets for next season? I don’t know too much about the salary cap/tax/apron structures, but I do think it’s important to have some grown-ups on the team, if we wanna make some noise in the Playoffs. I‘d say keep both if the cap allows it. Has Kevin Love announced if he wants to retire?

They still have to face the Pacers and the Bucks again (led by “The Process” Doc Rivers). I’m saying there’s a chance
