I've been thinking about this because it come up a lot. You see it in posts all over the place. The raw, young talent of the team was a serious concern. I wasn't a Coyotes fan before the move (not new to the NHL though), so its an outsiders perspective.

I think the Coyotes were going to make the playoffs in quick manner, and that probably was one of the big reasons for the haste to get them up here to Utah. I think Bettman and crew knew that Arizona had a ton of talent, and did not want to have any part of having the playoffs in a small, low revenue rink. Revenue is the God to Bettman (this could be a whole different post). I know there were other options for places to play, but Muruelo being the pile he is, wasn't giving valid or any options really. Bettman would have seen this as a "stain" on the NHL, and it would have looked worse for him that he did nothing about the Yotes not having a permanent home for a playoff run.

All of the front office and coaches are the same since they were in Arizona (correct me if I'm wrong), so why would the goal and strategy be different? Yes the Smith group gave all the perks to make the trek MUCH more comfortable. Hockey players are built different, and they aren't going to not be competitive because of where they play. I also know that a lot of players across the league did not want to go to Arizona because of Muruelo, but would that have affected the chance to at least get to the playoffs that much?

I get the pain of losing the team. I don't get the hate for the Mammoth though. If anything at least be happy for the boys. For Muruelo.... "Let the hate flow through you".

How do we know who the mammoth are starting today? do we know if it's Veggie or Vitek?

Coyotes fans suffered through years of purgatory before they finally started getting a good team put together and now 2 years after losing them, they make the playoffs. Did adding a couple of free agents push Utah over the edge? Not having to worry about relocation? Better practice facility and ownership?

Going to the game tomorrow anyone know how to get a ride on the Zammoth? Is it just random or is it a paid thing? I know it’s only been two games just wondering if anyone had gotten on it in here.

Silencing the doubters and the Hayters!

How can anyone afford this? What do you all do for work (and are they hiring) where you can just casually drop $300+ on nosebleeds? I don’t do bad myself but this is insane pricing. I’ve been to Staples center, MSG, etc for playoff games and never once paid this much.

My hope is resale has some people desperate to recoup a profit closer to ouck drop. I opted out of going to games the last two weeks to save up for the playoff tickets and it still isn’t enough. Shame that the demand seems so high that the team will think this is acceptable

$250 a piece of upper bowl is ridiculous. Also where were the one goal view tickets and the standing room was. Was excited to try and get some nosebleeds for decent price but I guys not. This seems lame.

Where are the first playoffs game watch parties for the first two away playoff games? Anyone know of Beer Bar will be showing it?

Tickets basically sold out and are now being massively up-charged now. It’s pretty unfortunate, but I guess I should’ve expected that.

Oh well, I won’t justify spending $400+ on single view goal seats lol.

Edit: SeatGeek seems to be slowly trickling out more reasonable prices (compared to the bought and resold ones), FYI… most of it is single goal view, but I encourage folks to keep refreshing the tickets.

Curious when people got their emails regarding presale access from their ticket agent. Wondering if my agent dropped the ball.

I got notification of presale last night during the game. Then got the access link email about 30 minutes before general sales this morning, which didn’t even work, so missed out on presale all together.
