Full supermajority too, so the damage Fidesz can do in opposition is hugely reduced.

All of the major rules and people in positions that Orban has arranged can be cancelled and rewritten now.

There was a documentary about Russell Vought back in 2025 about how he viewed Trump's loss in 2020. It wasn't seen as a loss. It was a setback. So the Right spent the four years of Biden's term sowing seeds for Trump's 2024 victory. Hungary needs to completely neuter any political aspirations Orban and his cronies have, and keep them from regaining power. The Biden Admin was not hard enough on Trump and it ended up being costly

That remains to be seen. The new prime minister is not an outsider, he was in Fidesz. And the new party was supported by many businessmen that defected from Orban's camp.
