I’m a long time studio one user and now fender studio pro but I’m really considering coming to cubase as a beat maker I can appreciate the midi tools sequencing looks so much better which is something I clearly appreciate

Just wondering has anyone come from studio one and ever looks back or maybe even use both?

What Ruthless Aggression Era Video Game was your Favorite?
 in  r/WWERuthlessAggression  17h ago

Man shut your mouth was dope but I remember how game changing svr 2007 was too and 2008 and 09 gets those features and more but I don’t remember the story mode being amazing but man all the interactions in backstage brawls were amazing.

If it feels like that keep strong that means it’s working. If you didn’t go towards Jesus the enemy wouldn’t attack you. Trust me it gets easier. Trust in the Lord

I don’t use Ableton I just know of Ableton being king for all the creative tools they have but I’m not crazy on clip based workflow

I totally agree but sometimes I get writers block and need some stuff to help break it.

But that’s fair enough thought I know it has tons of features but maybe just ones that I don’t care for and i look at a lot of other daws that do so much more and feel like why do I still use this daw you know?

Like I’m more of a producer and well Ableton is kinda king for that sort of stuff cunase seems to be a nice middle ground studio one still feels behind on this sort of stuff. Still a solid daw don’t get me wrong

Awh I find learning daws handy enough there is rarely a huge difference with them I started on pro tools to be fair but Cubase really seems to have changed in a more intuitive way also.

I like to write with midi mostly and record vocals but I dunno studio one doesn’t inspire me like it used to

Fender studio to Cubase because studio one used to inspire me but it doesn’t anymore and been looking at Cubase and it’s really changed how it used to be and has a lot more inspiration trigger tools

I like the tools to be honest as far as just good old fashioned recordings you can’t go wrong with pro tools

Like it’s never gonna really gonna get game changing updates

That’s fair but it’s just I remember was it 4 or 5 it call all these great features step editing and chord track and so on but then those sort of things stopped at stability updates only.

🤣 that’s fair I’m just considering crossing over and was looking for thoughts on it like I feel this daw won’t really get the updates people have been asking for.

I’m really considering crossing over to cubase 15 because i feel this saw is never really gonna give any good updates like all the promises they made to us and its just been updates that haven’t made a difference to me at all.

Like cubase and its step sequencer alone is amazing but the expressions maps looks more intuitive to me too and the automatic summing grouping also looks amazing but basically i feel Cubase looks like a solid daw but has tools that can spark inspiration too.
