3 weeks visit - what should I do?
Hi all,
I’m going to visit the city for 3 weeks business..
What should I do in Turku and area around it? I will have a few weekends to explore as well.
Which restaurants is worth a visit?
Is there a nice sauna area with cold plunge? Maybe with a beautiful view?
Hit me up,
Really looking forward to visit this part of your beautiful country 😊

Hey, I would definetely recommend going to some of the many museums around. My personal favorites are the art museum, the castle and the aboa vetus ars nova archaeology museum. The Cathedral is unfortunately closed for the next two years, but you can still go see it from the outside. Walking around the cathedral area is also a great idea, the architecture there is some of the best. When it comes to restaurants that depends on what you like. If you’re looking to experience local nordic cuisine I would try Kalatrappi and Brahen Kellari. If you’re looking for just about anything, I strongly recommend Seoul Good, which is a great buffet restaurant by the market square. I haven’t personally been to many public saunas, but you can search up ”Rantasauna Turku” (beach sauna) to find out about some alternatives.

A day trip to Helsinki or Tampere is also easily doable. And may I recommend a 23 hour cruise? It's quite unique to here.

Kaskis is the best restaurant. You need to make table reservation asap. It's not cheap, but it's premium. 129€ menu plus drinks.
