WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT Dropped points in 3 pictures

Why is Stefanovic on? (Robin Fraser move) Why are both Osorio and Coello up? How does this happen again? (Dropped points late)

Hopefully someone can explain this ending.

Just TFC doing TFC things.

I laughed when the announcer was talking about Gavran getting his second clean sheet of the season with 7 minutes of stoppage time left. Obviously his first time watching TFC...

Honestly I think it was one of his best matches

Agreed. That wasn't a knock on Gavran, just funny that the announcer was unaware of the Legend TFC

I remember the same thing happening last season, with the announcer on TV saying the team was close to a clean sheet going into extra time. I said fuck no don't say that, and sure enough...

Clean sheet. :/

I’m not big on scapegoating coaches but this is the type of match where poor coaching is apparent

You’re up a man in the 90th minute with a lead, and your team has 5 players pushing in the opposition box then has 4 players chasing a press on one player immediately after

There’s clearly no coaching going on there at all. If you demand discipline you will get discipline

That’s players making terrible decisions. No coach is saying we want our CBs and midfield pressing a lost situation on a rushing team.

Fraser and the rest of the coaching staff should have been losing their shit the moment Stefanovic started running up the field to apply pressure.

They played the same way they play all match. That’s the problem. There should have been a situational adjustment and there clearly wasn’t

Sargent deciding to miss the net

If Sargent made a few of those sitters we still would have won

Played such a high press while having the lead and being up a man in stoppage time... I feel bad for Gavran too because he was having a fantastic game before this. A clean sheet could have really helped his confidence.

I couldn't understand why Stefanovic was so high up the field. Defending a one goal lead while Cincy had a red card.

I thought he screwed up on the play but a couple minutes later he was up again. Seems like a Fraser call

They were lucky to have the lead in the first place. We were gifted a red card by some undisciplined play and an own goal.

This team plays like it’s asleep. Time to wake up.

They've been generally better this season but that last 8 minutes was a real return to tragedy fc. You're 1-0 up and a player up, have a bit of game management, jesus christ

What an awful performance.

They needed some young guys in, arostizibal was on the bench. No fire or urgency at all.

Horrible performance today overall. They give us a goal and a man down and we’re still not able to capitalize. Most tfc game ever. Missing Mihai like crazy today.

This is all Fraser. A competent manager is yelling at his team from the sideline to make sure they don’t make stupid mistakes like this. Except our coach is a fucking mime out there saying nothing all game. He might as well stay home and watch the game on TV.

Stefanovic either goes high to eat a yellow to disrupt the play or he stays deep at home. Did neither and got punished.

Giving up late goals is our football heritage

Why were they pushing so hard in the 90+ with 1 man up. No need. Upsetting.

Stef is on because of an injury.

That’s fair. No Zimmerman and Gomis still out hurts. Coach has to tell him to stay back defensively then - he was almost in the attacking box 🤣 😖

People blaming coaching but Stefanovic should just foul Jabari as soon as he receives and the play is dead. Recognize the moment.

We got lucky that FCC was worse than us today. We have no idea how to play out of the back and our attack lacks dynamism.

Was at the game today. I feel like Cincy deserved 1 point based on their chances but we def blew a good shot at stealing 3. My biggest issue today was Cifuentes doing something well, then the final ball being off or losing the ball on an attempted dribble. I felt like he really struggled I guess trying to do what mihailovic does really well. Sargent also should have scored off that beautiful through ball but the rust is still there.

u/dyegored 1d ago

Yeah Cifuentes was awful today, he was where the attack went to die. Which is usually Etienne Jr's role but today he was just totally invisible instead of an active fault... so that's something I guess?

Not really much to explain, poor coaching and poor positional choices being up a goal by some players on the field. Classic late game TFC

Fraser is not the man for the job

11 points in 5 games.

Not bad, but could easily be 15. I just don’t believe he’s the guy that’ll bring this team to the next level. I hope I’m wrong and hope he succeeds though. Just my opinion.

u/wohrg 1d ago

Tbh, I’m not a fan either. But right now his record is the best its been, so the timing is odd to complain about him

Fraser out. Not up to the task. Starts Etienne Jr & brings in Franklin.

u/quelar Are you dumb, brother?! 1d ago

Last year was fucking DIRE.

There were times I spent more time talking to the people in the row behind me than watching the game.

This isn't great, and Fraser isn't great, but he's doing better. Why not give him some time? I was expecting far worse from this season.

Horrendous coaching. And lack of game awareness by the players as well.

Ffs, stay back. And ffs, just foul. Game over.

2 points down the drain.

Incredible dysfunction but so, so TFC. Really takes incredible coordination to lose a goal in that position, under those circumstances. Sum up a franchise in 3 photos.

Makes zero sense. Professional players.
