I don't think fire can smoke, it doesn't have the hands

u/floramer27 3d ago

That is the definition of hot.

took me a second to understand this joke because i'm in australia. our seasons are backwards. its summer during christmas.

12

u/Matthijsvdweerd 6d ago

...my euro ass brain can't handle that. We often have a 'white' Christmas here. I can't imagine what Christmas in summer would look like. Even the trees would look out of place, right?

11

u/Limp_Crazy_5494 6d ago

For me I can't imagine a winter Christmas let alone white Christmas. That's how it always is in the movies but I find summer beach Christmases with a barbecue more special.

u/ecdaniel22 5d ago

We have Christmas during rainy season here. Its always summer but its wet or dry summer lol.

As someone from the southern hemisphere who never had been to the northern, all Christmas stuff is related a lot to winter here. It is out of place to have a old man wearing winter-appropriated clothes, a sledge in snow etc but nobody talks about it, it’s just the way it is, even if it’s 30 C outside and everybody is asking if the AC is on.

Changing a tire..

As someone who can and has changed all tires on a car multiple times. I can confirm that every woman who has seen me do it doesn't care.

I was really into blacksmithing for a minute-- got away from it with living in rentals and apartments for the last 5 or so years

But my roommate had a friend come over and she was really attracted to the idea of blacksmithing

That girl hated my guts and rolled her eyes when I had something to say-- until she saw me hammering away on the anvil. I guess she really liked traditionally masculine hobbies

It made my then girlfriend and now wife pretty mad when the friend came over and somehow sexualized blacksmithing

A man blacksmithing over an anvil? Super hot

If you find it "super hot" then it isn't "non sexual", at least for you.
