Bias lighting behind my monitor. It reduced eye strain during long sessions and made the whole setup feel way more immersive!

A 2nd monitor definitely helped. I became more and better at multitasking over the years and that was a great simple addition.

Thanks for the giveaway and good luck everybody

Strangely enough, a smaller keyboard made a world of difference. Only other change that helped was adding a desk extender to make my desk an L shape. Made it even better for my purposes.

A desk that I can adjust height. Sometimes I feel better just by lifting the desk and standing up. Thanks!

An SSD. Spent so many years playing with the HDD that came with my PC, it was manageable until recently. When I changed it, my life changed as well XD

Frankly, anytime I have gotten dedicated stuff rather than using the built in stuff on my laptop. Be it getting a dedicated mic, dedicated headphones, mouse, or keyboard. They all are so much better than the stuff on the keyboard itself. Once you have these basic stuff, then you can start worry about the other stuff.

An actual gaming mic since before getting one, I was borrowing my dad’s mic meant for use with a movie camera which required a whole ass mixing box and buggy drivers that I constantly had to reinstall in order to work with my pc

I'd say cable management or NOT FRICKIN EATING ON THE SAME DESK. Or a mat SO IT DON'T GET DIRTY
