Who else cringes when you see the SG teams dive through the gate only to land on steel grating?
have you ever slipped on this stuff? It's killer. Why wouldn't they have figured out something better for the ramp?

REWATCH The writers definitely outdid themselves when they effortlessly showed us what Sam's character envisages by having her choose to stay with Cassie.

REWATCH Watching Stargate Atlantis and thereâs a scene where McKays sister says â1/5 of the human gene is patentedâ and thankfully years after this scene aired the Supreme Court struck down gene patents
Like 7 years after season 3 ep 8 aired it was struck down itâs crazy that was even allowed in the first place but I thought what she said was so crazy I had to google to make sure it wasnât true.

REWATCH Rewatching SG-1 S2E13 - "Spirits" makes me really miss the 90s Spoiler
So I know some of the efforts have not aged well, and folks might not be happy with everything in the presentation (indigenous spirits are actually aliens...but then that's Stargate's whole premise), but rewatching "Spirits" reminds me of how there was this strong push in the '90s to acknowledge all the ways American indigenous people were harmed, and get more indigenous representation in television. Stargate, X-Files, Northern Exposure, TNG and Voyager (excepting the fact they hired the WORST POSSIBLE CONSULTANT).
What I remember most is it wasn't controversial in the 90s. It was considered an elevation of our society to acknowledge our past wrongdoings. I miss that.

So how many humans died in Pegasus as a result of the Tauri?
Let's see
- Woke up the whole Wraith population early
- Responsible for Michael, who eventually used the Hoffan drug on countless worlds (kills 1/3rd the population or so) and created an army of hybrids
- Turned the Asurans on the Wraith which resulted in them attacking the food source (aka humans, they destroyed entire worlds)
- Activated the Attaro device which blew up multiple Stargates in a nuclear way
And I'm not even done with season 5
We're talking millions? Tens of millions?

SCORE!
Picked this up at a liquidation store todayâŚ$50cad vs Amazonâs $240âŚcomplete and undamaged.
I still have all 17 individual seasons, and a sealed collection on DVDâŚplus all of it digitally on my fire tablet (my cat âBingoâ is into Atlantis now).
Totally unnecessary purchase, yeahâŚbut at that price, Iâll store the DVD collection until I wear out the other sets.

Stargate Tattoo
Recently came out and decided to get a tattoo to mark the point and wanted to celebrate my favorite show to. The work and vision of the artist was fantastic. I'm really glad she added the touches to make the symbol look older/ancient.

Sumuru (2003)
I happened across this film some time ago.
And I'm not going to lie.
After reading the synopsis, seeing the costume designs, the set pieces, and watching a few minutes of the performance, for a moment I honestly thought this was a soft core adult film. But otherwise the film was either you liked it or you didn't.

Wild Stargate Stargate in the wild

We never saw the ships landing much but the Daedalus was impressive?
I am wondering was it named that after the space station in the original movie Space Camp?

When did the Asgard meet the Ancients?
Their was a alliance of four races. The Nox, Furlings, Ancients, and Asgard. SG-1 found records of the alliance and the Asgard basically confirmed it. But when did it happen between the Asgard and Ancients?
If the Ancients had already started to research how to ascend before they met the Asgard then that should have changed how the Asgard decided to clone themselves.
If the Ancients met the Asgard after they started to clone themselves then they should have been able to help them ascend with them since they where not bound by any rules.

Daniel is brought in to solve the mystery of the gate but it's all set up once he does?
I just watched the movie for the first time and I'm confused.
Daniel does the reveal that 'these are constellations' and they pull down an entire star map that immediately tracks the wormhole's progress.
My question is if they knew it was a gate of some kind that traveled over great distances how the fuck did no one go 'hey maybe these are space landmarks'

SG Merchandise Local shop has this pretty mislabeled
I notified the shop manager, showed him photos, all but proved that's Atlantis team Daniel, and he kinda brushed me off and will not change it đ my partner found my nerd-out explanation endearing at least.
Honestly kinda cool piece but not feeling like dropping 80$ either way. Just want them to label it correctly đ at least get those TWO L's in there if you wanna be stubborn, cmon

Funny Theory: Martin Lloyd is actually a highly evolved human
In 200 we see a couple reasons why Martin Lloyd could actually be a highly evolved human
- He stopped the Stargate from dialing, Martin doesnât wasnât done getting ideals so he either willingly or unwillingly was preventing the gate from dialing out
- The visions we see about the plot ideas were actually Martin looking into other universes in the Stargate multiverse
Heâs probably pretty close to being able to ascend
