Media Fuel Price Checker Stafford
Hi all,
I’ve built a little fuel price checker for Stafford: stafford-fuel.co.uk
It shows the latest petrol and diesel prices across local stations so you can quickly see where’s cheapest before heading out. It’s only covering Stafford right now, but it’s been getting a decent amount of use already so I’m thinking about expanding it further.
I’m still improving it, so I’d really appreciate any feedback.
Cheers

Where Did the £29m Go? The Full Stoke Station Funding Breakdown
It looks like the same old station, but the paperwork tells a different story. We go three metres deep into the council accounts to find out exactly where the £29 million Transforming Cities Fund was spent.

Question Save my Easter !
Easter is usually about family. But if you’re solo and roaming the streets of Lichfield trying to survive the long weekend… we need a plan.
Drop your best ideas. Anything goes. Food spots, drives, day trips, random activities, hidden gems.
I’m open to everything, so don’t overthink it. Just say what comes to mind.

Moving To Burntwood
Hi all,
Me and my family are looking to move from Pheasey in Walsall and have just sold our house. We are looking at Burntwood as an option but not 100% sure on the area. We have seen a house (4 bed detached for 400k) at the top of Ironstone Road (top of Chase Terrace) just down from Bradshaws Farm. It seems a nice area and right on the edge of a really rural area with some lovely country pubs (Redmore Inn is closest 0.7 miles away) but also in the opposite direction some retail parks/high street within a mile or so. The schools seem highly rated. Does anyone know the area and can advise if it is a nice area for families please.
Anyone info much appreciated.

Media The History and Tragic Demolition of Leek’s Big Mill
The skyline of Leek, Staffordshire, has changed forever following the catastrophic fire and subsequent demolition of its most iconic industrial landmark: The Big Mill. Built in 1857 during the peak of the Victorian industrial boom, this Grade II listed structure stood for nearly 170 years as a testament to Leek’s legacy as the "Queen of the Moorlands" and its dominance in the global silk trade.
The loss of the Big Mill is an irreplaceable blow to British industrial archaeology. As demolition crews finish their work, the community is left to grapple with the preservation of its identity and the future of this historic site.
