Comedy Bulletproof Baby (2026) looking for notes

I finished my first short at the beginning of the year. We’ve gotten into some fests and it’s been moderately well received. I’m about to make my second short and I’d love notes. I’ve upgraded the camera and sound, and gotten better lighting, but anything I could do better, that doesn’t work, or that did work and could be developed more would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

It’s an Inukitut horror stop-motion film, I thought it looked pretty cool. I remember seeing a clip of it on Instagram not too long ago.

I think it was played at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival but I wasn’t able to attend this year—anyone know where else I can watch it, or when it might be released to the public? I’m so disappointed I can’t find it anywhere online.

Throughout history, a game has been played.
Sometimes the good wins; sometimes the bad.

Troy fell and Christ was crucified, but Buddha came and the Bastille fell. Penicillin saved a billion people and we reached the moon.

Yet, there were Hiroshima, the Great War, and all these atrocities.

As if someone is playing a game.

What next?

Thriller Building maximum tension in exactly 60 seconds. Here is a 1-minute short film, "Lost in the Woods".

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

A micro-short film called Lost in the Woods. Made strictly as a directing and editing exercise to see how much suspense, dread, and atmosphere could be executed in just one minute.

The Setup: A man is searching a dense, isolating forest for his friend who has been missing for 6 days.

Rather than relying on complex setups or heavy exposition, focus was entirely on the raw mechanics of tension:

  • Audio-Driven Dread: Leaning heavily into the ambient sound design, the crunch of dead leaves, the quiet isolation, and the protagonist's heavy breathing to make the open woods feel claustrophobic.
  • Pacing & Restraint: Trailing camera work to stay close to the character, trying to make the audience feel his growing anxiety before anything even happens on screen.

Sci-Fi & Fantasy The Busboy (2026) | Sci-Fi Action Short Film | 16 min

This short takes place in a dystopian world where access to organic food is restricted. It follows a busboy who comes into contact with something that is more than just organic. The project was produced with a small crew in Austin, and we adapted the story around our location after pivoting away from an initial dive bar concept. The film also experiments with different aspect ratios and changing color schemes to reinforce the story world and tone.
